Valentine's Day with Donnie

You honestly didn't know what to expect from Donnie but you were dying to find out. At first, it started like any other day, waking up to a sweet good morning text from Donnie, then spent the whole day goofing around with him and his brothers. Now the two of you were working in the lab. 'Working' meaning, you were begging and teasing him and he desperately tried to look like he was working but he couldn't be more eager (and slightly nervous) to show you your gifts.

"Donnie-boy, I have some candy hearts~" You said in a sing-song voice, digging into your mini box of candies and setting a purple heart on his blueprints and drawings.

He read what the heart said and immediately blushed, setting the heart down next to you, "I'm sorry Y/n but I am not a "cutie". He said making quotation marks in the air.

You awed at his blushing state and pulled on his mask tails, "Aww but it's your color, D." You then placed a chaste kiss atop his head.

He tensed at the affection, blushing even more. "Yes well- don't you have some homework you should be doing?" He said trying to change the subject.

"Ugh....Donnie......" You whined.

"Alright! Alright! You win!" He glared playfully. You just giggled as a small smirk appeared on his face, "Wait here." He left to his room and came back with something behind his back. He had a little bashful smile plastered on his face as he closed the door to his lab, making his way over to you. :This probably isn't much but uh here." He said handing you a white slip of paper with a red ribbon tied around it. You undid the ribbon and started reading, it was a poem. Donnie had written you a poem! You smiled happily, feeling your heart race. As you finally came to the end you were speechless.

"Wow....Donnie..."

"Is it bad? I'm sorry, I-"

"No! Gosh no. Donnie! This is beautiful!" You jumped up from your seat and attacked Donnie with a giant hug. He laughed and brought an arm around your waist, taking out another surprise from behind his back, a bag of chocolate kisses!

"Also, I was hoping we could share these?"

You agreed and eagerly opened the bag, feeding Donnie the first one.

"Happy Valentine's Day, love."

He giggled shyly, "Happy Valentine's Day, dearest."
