Y/n's pov:
Finney Blake and I have been best friends ever   since the day I helped him when I saw him getting beat up by Matt , Matty and buzz. Which are his bullies. Those boys never leave finney alone and I don't know why because finney is really sweet, caring , thoughtful and... really really handsome. I mean who could ever dislike him.

*Time skipppppp*
It's 7am and I'm getting ready to walk out the door. I look to see if Finney was waiting for me so we could walk to school like we normally do everyday. "Hmm that's weird.. finney isn't waiting for me." I say to myself but then I continue walking to school. I really hope finney isn't getting beat up by those douchebags (I think I spelled it wrong 💀). I think to myself. After 4 minutes I made it to school and walked to my first class which was science. I was hoping to see finney there but not sitting with her.

Finney was sitting with Donna. I hate when he talks to her not that I like him. ( Don't lie 🫢) she's so pretty and so smart and so- I think to myself but then I get cut off by finney.

"Hey y/n! Are you good? You kinda zoned out there" he said with a slight smile on his face. "Oh hey ! Yea I'm good I was just... thinking" I say and go sit down at the desk on the other side of finney. The whole time during class he was just talking to her.

"Maybe he likes her. Maybe he wants her to to be his girlfriend. Maybe he wants her and not me." I thought to myself slightly shocking myself. "Im in love with finney Blake" I think to myself again.

*pov switch*
Finns pov:
It's 6:30 am and I decided I was gonna leave out to walk to school early simce yesterday donna asked me to walk with her. I forgot to let y/n know.

We made it to school after a few minutes. I made my way into my first class and a few students were there already. Donna asked if she can be my partner for this class and I couldn't really say no because I didnt want to hurt her feelings, but I really wanted to work with y/n...

After some time passes by I notice y/n enter the classroom. She was zoned out so u called her name a few times. "Hey y/n! Are you good? You kinda zoned out there" I said with a slight smile on my face. I could tell that maybe she was a little upset to see me sitting with donna instead of her.

She goes and sits in the other desk right by me. I kinda zoned out looking at y/n admiring how beautiful she is. I have to admit I've liked y/n for a long time now but I'm afraid she doesn't like me back at all. Donna snapped me out of it and I'm relieved that she didn't notice me admiring her.

Donna was just talking to me about the project and bruce yamada the whole time during class and i couldnt really break away. All i really wanted to do was speak to y/n. (Btw yall i love donna/becca so im not hating at all i just couldnt really think of anything else 🥲)

*After school*
Y/n's pov:
I start walking out the school building and I stand there waiting for finney. Hoping he would show up to walk after school. Gladly he did.
"hey y/n. Im sorry i didnt walk with you earlier it's just donna asked me the day before and I already told her yes and I forgot to let you know an-" I cut him off. "FINNEY! it's alright. But can I just ask you something.."

Finney responds "of course. Anything!"

"Do.. You like donna ? Because I mean it seems like you do" I ask while looking straight at the ground. "WHATTT NOOO! She likes bruce." he says loud while laughing."(btw Yall are still on school grounds because yall haven't started walking yet but no ones at the school they all went home)

"wait why do you ask ?" finney asks me nervously.

Finneys pov:
Y/n asks me if i like donna. But why, does she like me.. (🤭)

"well the thing is finney... I'm kinda sorta in love with you" she says nervously still facing down at the ground. While I'm facing down at the ground as well with rosey cheeks.

"y/n im in love with you too" I say nervously and too nervous to look up. Then suddenly.. She pecks me on the lips and I do it back.

"so are we.. A thing ? " she asks me with a beautiful smile. "YES" I say happily and then we start walking home. (y'all live in the same neighborhood)
