He felt like he was floating in the air. He could see his pale body lying on the hospital bed. Several people in white coats ran around him, attaching wires and tubes to him, but he wasn't scared. It was for the first time he felt free. His physical body didn't look that appealing anymore. He glanced to the window, hesitating. If his astral body leaves, does it mean he would die?

"Come back." The tall man injected something into his veins, making Non look back. His eyes met the handsome doctor.

"Come back. You are too young to leave." The man in white was looking right back at him.

"You can see me?" Non asked. The doctor nodded, smiling.

"You are not dead yet, Non. Come back, please." The man pleaded, glancing at his unmoving body.

"What if I don't want to?" Non said, remembering the pain he had to go through every day.

"I will be there to help you."

"What if I don't believe you?" Non claimed again.

"Try it, and you will see." The doctor challenged. The look he was giving him seemed sincere. Non was maybe a naive idiot if he believed him when his astral projection returned to its rightful place, reading the name on the doctor's coat. He hoped he would remember it when he woke up. Pat, it has a nice ring to it.
