The Footprints You Leave (completed)

Chapter 7

It's been 2 weeks since getting together and we still in the honeymoon stage of the relationship.

Today was going to be a fun day. It's Friday so Dustin decided that we should go on our first official date. He didn't want me knowing anything about it just that I should wear something nice but still comfortable and be ready to go at 5 pm.

Currently it was 4:00 pm and I was standing in my towl looking at the 2 outfits I had chosen for tonight. Ons was a knee length lavender purple dress that was made out of this really soft material. The other was a black skinny Jean pair with a dark red blouse that had a v neckline.

Why was getting ready such a hard task to do!

After another 10 minutes of staring at the 2 outfits I chose the jeans and blouse. We might be outside and I don't want my panties on display for everyone to see.

I fished my outfit with a pair of high top sneakers, they were black with purple design on them.

Grabbing my hand bag I made it down stairs to see Dustin standing at the front door waiting for me. He was dressed
In a pair of dark fitted jeans a blue button down shirt.

"Are you ready to go? " Dustin asked me what I reached him at the door.

" Yes lest go " I said smiling up at him. He held the door open for me and locked it behind him.

He took my hand and started walking up the street. It was weird that he wasn't taking the car but then again I have no idea what he had planned.

He didn't say anything while walking all that I could make out was that we were going in the direction of the park that was a few house down the road from us.

The park was built we I was around 7. They guy who build it owned the house next to the are of the park. It was a plot that was just never bought to build a house on so he bought it and made it a park so his kids and the rest of the neighbourhood children could enjoy it.

When we got to the park you could see other couples arranging blankets on the ground and some getting popcorn from a tent that was set up at the entrance of the park.

"Dustin what are we doing here? " I asked look up at my boyfriend.

" Just wait and see " Dustin told me. The couple in front of us in the queue were doen and so we now stood in from of my gran who was sitting behind a desk.

" Gaan what's going on? "

Gran gave me smile and pointed to the banner above her head.

It read 'Movie night'

Oh looks like I've been so focused of Dustin that I've missed all the banners and poster plasters around. The couples all sitting on blankets with pillow scattered everywhere. They were all facing a screen like those you get in a cinema. There were speakers place around so that the sounds would be heard through out the playground.

It was like going to a drive in movie theatre! On the posters it said there would be 2 movies showing. One is a pitch perfect 2, for the ladies and Jaracic world, for the guys.

"Here is the snacks you wanted me to eight for you. " Gran gave Dustin a picnic basket full of snacks for us.

Dustin tugged my hand leading me to a spot on the grass that was not occupied. I can't believe that I have a boyfriend that's so caring.

" Thanks for this" I gave him a kiss cheek before settling down on the blanket.

"Knew you would love a movie night. " Dustin placed the basket down next to us and came to sit next to me.

We had a spot up agents a tee, so Dustin sat with his back up to it and I could lean agents him. I love using him as a pillow, he had lean muscle, not overly bulky. That's another thing that I like about him is he exercise but not overly!

We enjoyed both movie, the singing in pp2 was amazing and actors were funny, jurassic world had Chris Patt in so who could not like it!

We walked but home hand in hand, if I could hold this moment for ever I would!
