Then She Was Gone

Renee saw us, and she ran into her house. I couldn't go, but Jayy ran into her house and told me to call 911 if I heard gun shots.

"Jayy."

He stopped

abruptly from running.

"Yea A?"

"I love you, please be careful."

With that he sprinted into the house.

~Jayy's POV~

"I love you, please be careful."

With that, I sprinted into Renee's house.

It was going to be hard trying to find her. She has a HUGE 2 story house.

She lives with her "boyfriend" who only stays with her for her money and fame.

I cleared the bottom floor, checking the kitchen, living room, game room, all the hall closets, the den area and both the bathrooms.

I quickly climbed the stairs and first checked the other two bathrooms. I walked into the hall about to check her room, when I heard a slight sob. I walked swiftly and quietly to the end of the hall. The sobbing got increasingly louder. I think she is in the library.

The door was open.

I walked in slowly. I started at the end if the book cases and checked every isle. Towards the end, I found her in the magazine isle.

She was reading an article on Blood On The Dance Floor.

I went down the next isle over so she wouldn't see me. I stopped at the end of the isle, so I was 2 inches from the back wall.

She had her back towards me.

"Jayy, there's no point in living if I'm not with you.."

"Renee, you have so much ahead of you. You have so much to live for."

"No Jayy, I don't."

She looked up at me, tears in her eyes.

I sat down across from her.

"Listen to me. You are an amazing singer, with a great career. We can ALWAYS be friends."

"Jayy.."

"Yes, Renee?"

"I love you."

She lifted the gun that was so unnoticed to me, and pulled the trigger.

"RENEE! NOOOOOO!"

I hovered over her bleeding body. My tears hitting her.

She was gone.

~~~~~~~~1 hour later~~~~~~~~

"Yes officer. She pulled the trigger. She sh- sh- shot herself."

I watched as they carried Renee's body in a body bag out to the ambulance.

"Oh A. I could've saved her."

"I know Jayy. I'm so sorry."

I watched the ambulance drive away, knowing that I would never see Renee again.

I cried into Ariel, who was so sweet an kind to comfort me.

"I'm so sorry Jayy. I really am."
