Dahvie bought ice cream for us, and we headed to the museum. I'm not quite sure what this museum is showcasing, but I do know that it means a lot to get Jayy out of the house.
I can't get my mind off that feeling before we left. Someone is watching me or us. I don't know who, but I have a bad feeling about it.
"So A, what is this museum about?"
"Well Mr. Vanity, it showcases all the empty hair dye bottles that past celebrities use."
Jayy chuckled softly and rested his hand on my thigh.
"Don't get me excited, A."
"Haha well I'm not quite sure. I think it's about Egypt. You know like ancient mummies and stuff."
"Oh that's cool. I wonder if their old hair dye bottles will be next to them."
"OH HAHA Dahvie." I smirked a little and glanced into the rearview mirror.
"Jayy, I'm so so glad you attended. My best friends, who would have thought? Anyway, I'm treating you guys to dinner after. Any suggestions on whe-"
"OLIVE GARDEN HOLY YES."
That was the first time I've heard excitement in Jayy's voice for months.
"Dahvie, does that sound appealing?"
"Hell, to the yessery."
Approximately 25 minutes later we arrived at the museum. LA's museum of Egyptian Culture. Fascinating.
We walked around the museum for 2 hours, taking selfies with the mummies until we almost got kicked out. The whole time I had that weird feeling. Someone is following me. I have to talk to Jayy about it.
We walked to Olive Garden, since there was one a block away. After settling in our booth and ordering, I finally got the chance to talk to Jayy. Something that I've been wanting to do.
"So Mr. Vanity and Mr. Monroe, how did you like the museum with all the dead people and such?"
"It was cool I guess, I mean the police dudes weren't too happy about a guy with multicolored hair taking selfies with preserved mummies, but I had fun."
"Rad. How about you love?"
"I liked it. I got some pretty cool pictures with those dead hoes."
"Speaking of hoes, Jeffrey is supposed to drop by tomorrow. We're scheduling a photo shoot with him. I should probably re-dye my hair. Want to do it A?"
"Do I ever!"
"Cool. He'll he'll be stopping by at 6, and I have to meet our motherfucking tour manager in the morning to discuss some shit. I think you and Jayy should get breakfast in the morning. You know, to catch up."
"Yeah, A. I'll take you my treat. Then I'll take you to the fair for a little. An outing, just you and me."
"Haha okay Jayy. But we have to be back in time by 6."
We left Olive Garden 2 hours later, at 10:27 exactly.
"So I was thinking that we could-"
I drowned out Dahvie's voice because I thought I heard rustling in the bushes. Probably a squirrel or something.
"How does that sound A?"
"Hmm? Oh uh yeah that sou-"
I heard someone else's footsteps stop behind us.
"Ah. Ariel. So good to see you again."
I turned around, shocked to see that scarred smirk.
"We need to chat."
Oh fuck. He's going to kill me.
