When (Name) finally opened her eyes, she was greeted with blinding lights and pain in her wrists and ankles. Memories of what had happened before slowly came drifting back to her as she tried to sit up straight and keep her head from spinning from the drugs she received.
After a minute or two (Name)'s vision cleared and she looked around the room. There was nothing here in there except for a bed and a dim light hanging overhead. She tried to wiggle her wrists and ankles a little to loosen the ropes, but it didn't help at all. She still had the gag on, so calling for help would also do no good.
That and the fact that she was now on a ship that was being run by pirates.
(Name) looked up from the floor and saw a man, obviously the captain of the ship, enter the room. From where she was looking, he was huge and had a bushy beard and a gold tooth and carried a sword on his belt. (Name) tried to back away as he started to approach her, but her back was already against the wall and there was nowhere else to go.
He examined (Name) up and down with his eyes, a smirk of satisfaction appearing on his face that made her shiver. "They were right, you are a real beauty," the captain said kneeling down and he ran his fingers through (Name)'s (h/c) hair making her shiver even more. "You'll bring in plenty of money once we sell you to your new master."
(Name)'s eyes widened. Master? Did he mean.. Sell her as a slave?
The man picked (Name) up bridal style and carried her out of the room. She tried to struggle away from the man, but his grip was much too strong. He set you down in a chair.
He untied your wrists and ankles and strapped them securely to the chair, leaving the gag over your mouth.
"Land ho!" said a man on lookout.
(Name) tried to struggle loose of her restraints, but it was already too late. The ship had already docked at its destination and they were already moving out with her still strapped in.
Once they stopped, they had placed her in the middle of a stage that stood a couple of feet off the ground. There was an audience mostly inhabited by men, filthy rich men by the looks of it. On the left side of the stage, a blonde boy with a curl on his head wearing glasses was being held captive by two of the pirates on either side of him.
Another pirate was holding a frightened polar bear, who the boy was trying to break free to get to. On the right side of the stage, another blonde boy was holding a smaller blonde headed girl that looked similar to him to try and keep her out of the reach of the pirates holding them captive.
Were these pirates going to sell them off too?
The captain of the pirate ship made an announcement about the upcoming auction for everyone, including (Name), who was up on the stage. But (Name) didn't pay attention to much of anything he said; she was too worried about what would happen to her and the other innocent people on this stage if they didn't escape soon.
"The auction will start in ten minutes! Be prepared to bid as much money as you can, because the princess will be the first to go, and her price will start at $5,000!" The captain rang out. After that was said, the captives and (Name) were starting to be moved away from the stage by the captain's assistants to a small shed nearby. The pirates released the restraints on the chair, removed her gag, and tossed her into the shed with the rest of the prisoners, looking the door with a deafening click.
