Mindy snuck through bushes and trees, following behind two pirates from which she spotted from her hiding spot in a bush. She was close to certain that these were the pirates that took (Name) away. With her hand on the handle of her sword, she followed them silently until they cleared out of the shrubbery and onto the shore where their ship was docked. Once the pirates were about to board the ship, Mindy took her sword out and held the tip to the back of who she recognized as the captain's neck, the sun making the sword gleam with brilliance.
"One more step and you'll be asking for a death wish," she threatened. The pirate walking next to him started to reach for his sword without looking back. "Same for you," she said, stopping him dead in his tracks.
"Surely we can work something out," the captain said in a British accent. "What is this all about?" He turned to her and his heart almost leapt out of his chest. "(Name)?" The other pirate turned around, having almost the same reaction as his captain.
Mindy froze and brought the tip of the sword closer to him so it rested on his cheek. "How do you know (Name)?"
Arthur looked past the sword and took a closer look at the girl, noticing she looked exactly like (Name), but it wasn't her at all. "First of all, who are you?"
"That's not important, just answer my question. Did you kidnap (Name) or not?"
Alfred stared in shock at the girl in front of them. "Why would we kidnap (Name)? She's our friend."
"It's true. As a matter of fact, we're going off to rescue her right now," said Arthur.
Mindy kept the tip of the sword to Arthur's cheek. "How do I know I can trust you?"
"Arthur, are you-" Matthew stopped midsentence and panicked when he saw a girl holding a sword to Arthur.
"Get back on the ship Matthew," Arthur ordered.
"But-"
"Go, and keep quiet."
Matthew nodded slightly and hesitantly went back onto the ship.
"Now allow me to explain-"
"I don't want to hear it, pirate!"
"Just hear him out," Alfred countered. "He's telling the truth."
Mindy hesitated for a moment, then she finally sighed and sheathed her sword. "Fine, I'll hear what you have to say."
Alfred and Arthur went onto the ship with Mindy following behind them, watching them closely. Once they went into Arthur's cabin, he explained to Mindy what everyone's goal was, how they met and rescued (Name), how they became good friends, and lastly how she was taken away by the Treasure Hunters just recently.
"I guess you're telling the truth…" said Mindy. "If you are, I'd like to help you rescue her. She's my friend too after all."
"Well, the more the merrier," said Alfred with a smile. "What do you think Arthur?"
"Sure, you can help us Mindy. But don't be too drastic or put yourself in danger."
"I don't care about danger. I just want (Name) back… It's my fault she got captured in the first place."
"What do you mean?" asked Alfred.
"Well.. It was on the night of the ball at my palace, and being the princess and all, it was required that I show up but I'm not interested in fancy balls or frilly ball gowns. So I asked (Name) to take my place since we look alike and everything. That was the night the pirates attacked and took her away."
"Well this is no time to be placing fault on yourself," said Arthur. "She's out there somewhere and we're going to find her no matter what it takes."
Mindy nodded and smiled. (Name) sure made some great friends through all of this. Now she was certain (Name) would be safe in just a matter of time.
