(Name) sat in between the sleeping Feliciano and Peter, unable to fall asleep again.

Instead she stared up blankly at the ceiling listening to the soft breathing of the two boys while thoughts of what she said to them before were flowing through her mind over and over again: "You don't have anything to worry about. We'll be busted out of here in no time."  "Of course, Arthur isn't going to let us down." She really hoped that she didn't end up lying to them.

What was she thinking? Of course she wasn't lying to them. She had faith in Arthur, she knew he wouldn't fail them.

For now, she could try and figure out a way to keep Feliciano and Peter out of harm's way. Of course, that could ultimately mean taking their beatings but that was something she was willing to do for her new friends whether they liked it or not. She could take it as long as it meant keeping them safe. Besides, wouldn't Arthur be pleased that she was looking after his little brother? Of course, he might be upset seeing her in this condition, but it was well worth it. At least it wasn't Feliciano or Peter.

In what seemed like hours later, a pirate came in. (Name) closed her eyes and pretended to be fast asleep as he laid three small plates of food along with a small bottle of water each, then left locking the door back. She opened her eyes and looked down at the food and water. Good to know they actually fed them. She got up and inspected the water and food, making sure they weren't spiked or something.

"They're alright.." Peter said in a tired voice while rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

(Name) turned to him. "Oh hi Peter. Did you sleep well?"

He yawned softly and nodded. (Name) handed him his water and food and looked to Feliciano. "Should we wake him up?"

Peter nodded. "He should eat now because they won't give us anything else until nighttime." (Name) shuddered. They had to wait that long? And it was, what, early morning right now?

"How do you stand living like this Peter? You're seeming much to be much stronger than me right now when it comes right down to it."

Peter just shrugged and smiled sadly looking the other way. "You get used to it after a while."

(Name) scooted over to him and wrapped him up in her arms and rubbed his soft hair. "You don't deserve to have to live like this…" She held him close and soon started hearing sniffling and felt Peter trembling slightly in her arms. She looked down at him and saw tears running down his face and the saddest look in his eyes.

"I just want to go home…… I want to see Arthur again…. I can't take it anymore (Name)… I just can't….." Peter sobbed and shook fiercely.

(Name) held the sad boy close to her, letting him sob into her shoulder and rubbing his back comfortingly. "Shh… I know. It's okay. Arthur's looking for us remember?"

Peter sniffled again. "How long will it take for him to find us?"

"I don't know sweetheart… But I know he's on his way. Just trust me okay?" (Name) ran her fingers through his hair and held him close.
