We arrived at the restaurant in time and got our seats I wanted a booth but there were too many of us so we had to get one big table
I sat beside Sydney because we needed to hang out and catch up
"So how are you and Shawn?" I ask she deciphers what she's going to say then finally after a couple minutes she spoke
"We're definitely not what we used to be" she says I furrow my eye brows down confused
"We're both busy people there's just not any time anymore" she says hoping to help the confusion
"Ahh" I say lifting my eye brows back to the previous position
"What're yeah gonna do?" I ask
She shrugs
"I don't know I'm thinking maybe we should take a break for a while just until all this is over" she says I nod my head then we all order our food.
Throughout the night Cameron and I kept on giving each other looks we would make funny faces at each other every once in a while laughing
I got up and excused myself from the table to go to the bathroom with Sydney we both walked into the bathroom and over to the mirrors
"I saw you and Cameron" she says
"What?" I say back pretending to not know what she's talking about
"You guys are totally flirting" she says
"Not really just chatting without speaking" I shrug back
"Whatever" she says we finish in the bathroom then go back out to the table
As the waiters left with our plates I picked up the dessert menu and flipped through it
"Really?" Sydney says
"What?" I say back
"Dessert you literally just ate like a whole fish and fries" she says back
"Yeah you ate 2 burgers and fries" I raise my eye brow
"Touché" she says back and picks up the menu
We decide to share and go with deep fried sugar balls (omg I said balls haha so funny.. Sarcasm)
When the waiter came with our food we dug in and ate finishing with what I thought was a high score record of 3 minutes but apparently 2.5 is the record... darn...
After dinner we went back to the hotel and slept I was in my bed scrolling through my phone when a quiet knock appeared on my door
I got up and lazily walked over rubbing my eyes and opening the door when I look up I see Cameron
"What the hell are you doing at my door at 2 in the f*cking morning?!" I ask groggily
"This" he says before I could question what he meant by it I felt soft lips on mine they lingered for a bit because I was shocked at what was going on and my brain hasn't fully processed it yet
He pushed me up against the wall and kissed my neck then back up to my lips I couldn't do anything because he was holding me down but it wasn't like I wanted him to stop or anything I was just really tired and wasn't really fully awake
He lets go of me and leaves going back into his room I stand there for a few minutes touching my lip then my neck it hurts
Why does it hurt!?
I run back into the room and into the washroom turning on the light and turning my neck to look in the mirror
I see a faded red spot on my neck it was beginning to bruise
That. little. prick.
That morning I got up early to go over to Sydney and Lindsey's room I needed to borrow something that would cover up this puppy
I knocked on their door and waited for one of them to wake it was Linsey she let me in and I explained what happened she put some things on my neck then I went and looked in the mirror it wasn't completely gone but it was well hidden
"Thank you so much he's gonna pay for what he did" I say to her
"No problem and hey maybe we should like hang out today or something" she says
"Just name the time and place" I say
"3 o'clock long neck restaurant" she smiles
I smile back and nod leaving and going back to my room to get ready if the makeup happens to rub off during the day I needed another excuse so I got ready and straightened my hair that way if they asked I could say that
Today we were all going to the cape of good hope it was this beautiful Island surrounded by crystal blue water and tall green palm trees the only way to get there was by boat or plane
Boats were not my thing so a plane it was
Just my luck the plane was out of service so we had to take the boat
Half way there I couldn't feel the sickness arriving I already took some gravels and I tried sleeping but that just makes it worse
I was sitting on the seat with my head tilted down my eyes closed and praying to god that I don't throw up
"You alright there Kenz" I hear Cameron say trying to hold in his laughs
"Screw you" I say back
"Gladly when and where?" I could hear the smirk just from the tone of his voice
"Oh shove it up you're's" I say back
"Now that's not very nice" he says like one of those daycare people trying to teach the children not to hit each other
I groan and switch positions
"When are we getting of this thing?!" I almost yell
"Right now" the man driving the boat said in his accent
I look up and see the island it was gorgeous but right now I was to sick to care..
"Welcome to cape of good hope island"
