Paradise Lost

~Danielle's pov~

"You gotta be kidding me" I said walking into the lab after being gone for 2 weeks and skeleton covered in blood, oh and finding out that 'Ward' was still alive "Ward? What a pain in the ass. What, leaving him for dead on another planet isn't enough to get rid of that guy?"

"Well, we don't think he's the guy anymore" Daisy answered.

"We think Ward's body was possessed, for lack of a better word, by it, the creature" Simmons said walking over and scanning the skeleton.

"From the other planet" Fitz finished.

"And he burned them or something?" I asked looking at the body on the table.

"Honestly, right now..." Simmons started.

"We have no idea" Fitz said cutting off Simmons "When i was there, it knew everything that Will did, even after he was gone"

"Which means whatever this thing is has Ward's memories, so why hasn't It come after us?" Daisy asked.

"Maybe, It's not interested in us" Fitz replied.

"Can't believe I'm hearing this" I said.

"Well, we know it destroyed an entire civilization over there. Who knows what It has planned here?" Jemma said and walked away.

"Daisy, you saw the future, right?" I asked her "You see anything else? Anything that might help us out?"

"Director Coulson would like to see you in his office" An agent said walking over to us "All of you"

We all walked out the lab and walked into Coulson after and Mack and May were already in there "Malick has given new meaning to the term 'hostile takeover' What he did at Transia Corp, was brutal, even for him. They must have something he needs" Coulson said.

"If we can figure out what it is" May started.

"It'll lead us to Ward" Mack finished.

"This is not Ward" Coulson told us, pointing to the picture of Ward.

"Sure is creepy like Ward" I spoke up.

"Ward's dead. I saw it happen" Fitz said, as i looked over to him.

"There's a lot of overlap between the two companies, but only Teansia has a subsidiary dabbling in the agrochemical field" Coulson said, and May pulled a building up on a map.

"GT Agrochemical. Does what?" Daisy asked.

"GMOs, pesticides, ruining the global food supply" Simmons told me, I nodded still confused.

"Minutes after the takeover, a paramilitary force took control of that branch, started moving equipment out" Coulson replied.

"Zephyr is wheels up in 20. The Quinjet will peel off mid-flight" May told us.

"We're splitting up?" Daisy asked.

"Lincoln and Daisy have to a stop in the Badlands" Coulson told them, Daisy looked over to Lincoln.

"There...there was this Inhuman in Afterlife. He might have answers about whatever is possessing Ward, it's a long story. I'll explain on the way" Lincoln said to Daisy well walking over to Daisy.

"We're in the dark, but right now, Ward and this thing. they're not afraid to take what they want or kill who they want. So what's our advantage?" Coulson asked.

"They're not afraid" Mack answered.

~Time Skip~

"Giyera is Malick's right hand. He's a trained killer" Coulson said with a picture of Giyera on screen.

"And torturer, don't forget" Fitz finished.

"Which is why we need to make sure he doesn't get away" Coulson replied.

"It won't be easy, he can control anything in his line of sight" Simmons told him.

"Non-biological objects" Fitz finished.

"Yes, non-biological objects and the like, but he can't make you hurt yourself. Though he did turn poor Mr. Banks' gun on him" Simmons said quietly.

"So I built handprint locks into the grips" Fitz answered, picking up one of the new guns "The firing pin won't engage without the designated hand on the trigger.

"Great" Mack spoke up "So, instead of shooting us, he'll just bludgeon us to death"

"Before the ATCU, Giyera spent years in Special Ops. he's dangerous without powers"

"Here" I spoke up, putting the map up on screen "Tell me about this room" highlighting one of the rooms.

~Time Skip~

I watched as Coulson ran through the white room well, I stood in the corner. Coulson ran out the through door and it closed behind him, Giyera looked around the room looking for a weapon or anything like that.

"Not so fun when we take away your toys, is it?" I asked him, I stepped away from the corner well we just looked at each other until I charged at him and swung a kicked at him but he blocked it, I swung another kick but he dodged it and roundhouse kicked me in the face, I spat out blood and looked back at him.

"So we're doing this the hard way?" I asked.

I launched myself at him kicked him the the chest with full force and he fell backwards.

I walked over to him as he got on his feet, i swung a punch as him and he blocked it. I kicked him back sending him into the wall, he swung a punch at me, i blocked it and punched him in the face and slammed him into one of the walls and kneed him in the side, he punched me in face and i let go off him.

He charged at me, I ran at the wall and launching myself at it and landed behind him 'I didn't know that would work' I thought to myself, he kicked me back a bit then did a flip kicking me in the face, and I fell to the floor. He grabbed me by my neck and slammed me against the wall.

"I don't usually like getting my hands dirty, but for you, I'll make an exception" He said to me.

"Don't bother" I replied struggling to breath and kicked him in the groin, let go of me and i kicked him in the chest sending him flying, he was about to get up but I grabbed him by the arm and slammed his head into the floor.

~Time Skip~

"Giyera has escaped" Jemma spoke up after an alarm started going off.

"Do not let him in here" Coulson said as the other walked out.

A couple minutes later, Giyera ran into the command center "You're not getting this plane without a fight" I told him, stepping down the stairs.

"We don't need to fight anymore" He answered and he put his hands up. The plane suddenly jolted, and I flew through the glass window. I felt the plane land,

I managed the crawl over to Simmons who was on the fell as well "Simmons?" But she was unconscious, so I managed to crawl over to the comms "Daisy, come in. Giyera's taken control of the plane. We need-" I started, I heard a noise behind me, I turned my head and Giyera hit me with a metal pipe and everything went black.
