~3rd Person~

Danielle opened the box of new weapons as Ward stood next to her "Nice haul. New recruit brought you these?" He asked her, picking out one of the guns

"Yeah" Danielle said in her British accent "Same bloke who brought these took out Spud last week. He's a tough bastard"

"I like that he didn't come empty-handed" Ward answered

"Hmm. Might be helpful on the next job whatever that is" Elle said with a slight attitude

"Sorry, Danielle" Ward started and cocked the gun "That's level seven" Danielle rolled her eyes

"Level seven. Right" She said with an attitude

"I'm messing with you" Ward told her as she picked up one of the guns "It was a S.H.I.E.L.D. thing" As he started to walk away "One of their ridiculous codes of bureaucracy" Danielle turned around to face Grant as he continued to talk "Though I will say there are a few things that S.H.I.E.L.D. got right, things they valued and i don't mean money or power or resources"

"Now, take this job, for instance. It's all about accountability, patience, an attention to detail that require a...personal touch. Those kinds of things mattered at S.H.I.E.L.D." He turned away from Elle and picked up two cans of gasoline "Almost a shame we're gonna bring it all down"

~Time Skip~

Danielle pulled up to where she was meeting Hunter, in an alleyway as she got out the car "Clearly, punctuality ain't one of Hydra's core values" Hunter said, Danielle rolled her eyes

"Funny. Hands on the car" She said slightly annoyed, he scoffed

"Thought we were past all that" He scoffed but walked over to the truck off the car and put his hands there

"Got to make sure you're clean director's orders" Danielle told him, as i took out the gun from his pocket

"Director?"

"It's a thing with the boss, S.H.I.E.L.D. nonsense" Elle said and opened the truck of the car "In you got, Richy" She teased

"No, I ain't getting in the bloody boot" He told her "It stinks of rotten banana in there"

"This is your only way to Ward" Danielle commented, he looked at her and then sighed in frustration

"Always in the bloody boot" Hunter complained and got in the truck

"Get comfy. It's gonna be a long ride" She told him

"Oh, when you say, long, how-" Hunter started but was cut off by Danielle closing the truck

"Peace and quiet" She said to herself and got back in the car

A couple hours later Danielle pulled into the Hydra facility and was slightly nervous which was rare, she got out the car and walked to the truck of the car and opened it

"Where are we?" Hunter asked, and she pulled him out the truck

"Welcome to where all the fun begins" She told him and walked into where the other agents were putting away weapons "Director's still mulling over a code name for the place. Nemesis, Omega Point"

"Sounds a bit too S.H.I.E.L.D. for my liking" Hunter said

"Rumor has it the director spent some time with them" Elle said, as Hunter stopped in front of the map

"You planning some sort of raid?" Hunter asked, and she stepped in front of the map

"Yeah" She said quietly. She noticed Ward walking towards them "You can ask the director yourself"

"So..." Ward started, slowly walking toward us as Hunter had his back turned to Ward "This the new guy?"

"Yeah" Danielle said

"Turn around, Richy" Kebo spoke up from next to Ward, as Hunter looked at the guns next to him and then back at Elle

"Yeah, Richy" Ward started again "Why so shy?"

"My name isn't Richy..." Hunter said and then turned around to look at Ward "...Director" the other agents pulled out their guns and shot at Hunter, Hunter dodged and grabbed a gun from next to him and went behind a metal containers

"Director, get to cover" Kebo said, as they moved into the other room, Danielle pulled out her pistol from behind her back and ran into the other room with Ward and Kebo

"Check the perimeter. Look for S.H.I.E.L.D. reinforcements" Ward said, Danielle nodded and was about to walk over to the window "Not you" Grant said to Elle as Kebo walked over to the window

"I got nothing!" Kebo yelled "Not a man, not a vehicle in sight!"

"Come Hunter!" Ward yelled "You weren't actually dumb enough to come here all cowboy, were you?"

"Sorry, this coming from the guy who shot his own girlfriend by mistake?" Hunter shot back, as Danielle tried not to laugh

"I was hoping you were dead and Bobbi was coming for me!" Ward yelled "At least that rematch would have been more even" Danielle slowly moved her finger to the trigger on her pistol

"Hardly!" Hunter yelled "I heard it took two of you after hours of torture!"

"Yeah, lesson learned! Should have rigged the door with a grenade!" Ward yelled back, Danielle was about to pull the trigger, when she heard two other gunshots go off from outside the room

"May, is that you?" Ward asked "Cause that would be great" As he looked over to Kebo and he pulled out his phone and so did Ward, she looked at them in confusion "I mean, i was hoping to hold out for a little while longer" as Kebo made a phone call and Ward was doing something on his phone

"So glad you're here, May. I was planning on heading out with a truck full of weapons that Hunter so kindly supplied" Ward started, Danielle rolled her eyes with her finger still on the trigger and was ready to pull it "Looking to cause a little mayhem, draw out S.H.I.E.L.D., when instead...you came to me"

"You're trapped, Ward!" May yelled

"Hey don't interrupt" Ward told her "Not before seeing my surprise" and he slid his phone out the room "That's a live feed, in case you're wondering" As Elle looked at him in confusion "Dr. Garner's on his way to teach a class right now. Psych 301, I believe" Danielle eyes widened at the name of May's ex husband "I've got my men on him right now. Watching him die like this isn't quite the same as, oh, let's say holding the woman you love in your arms while she breathes her last breath"

"You shot her" Danielle muttered, but no know heard her

"But, hey...it's the best I could do on such short notice" Ward finished "If i don't call off my men in the next 30 seconds, Dr. Andrew Garner, the ex- Mr. May is a dead man. All you have to do is put your weapons down, and I'll let you go"

"You're lying!" May yelled back

"I'm not" Grant answered back "Give you my word, May"

After a couple seconds of silences until, Hunter started firing again as one of his bullets went through Danielle's shoulder, She cried out in pain, Ward got up from off the floor and grabbed her arm

"Come on" He said, and pulled her up

"Come on! Come on!" Kebo yelled, we ran round the corner and Kebo jumped out the window, Danielle ran over to the widow and jumped out the window as well, she landed on my feet, she heard gunshots go off again and she hoped that Hunter had killed Ward as she ran over to the truck

She jumped in the back of the truck when she noticed Ward running over, as Kebo helped him into the truck and Ward layed down so Hunter couldn't shoot him and she noticed a bullet wound on Wards back
