You roll your eyes as Jack grabs a few bandaids. You've gotten into a fight with one of the savannaclaw students and almost lost. Thankfully, Jack defused the situation before things got bloody. Well, they sort of did since the student cut your arm and bruised your leg, which made you punch him in the nose, causing it to bleed. Leona rolled his eyes and held you back before more things escalated. And here you are in Jack's room.
"I could've handled him myself, Jack." You said and Jack sighs. "You almost got knocked out, Mc. You're also bleeding." He says, putting the bandaids on your leg which make you finch.
"Hey! Easy!" You said and Jack sighed again. "Be careful next time. What would you've done if they hurt you? Or worse?" He asked, bandaging your wounds. You laid down while he finished with your wounds, staring at the ceiling. "I know you don't want me hurt, Jack. But I can defend myself." You started and he looked at you.
"Maybe once you get better, we'll train more." He says and you smile. "Sure, sure. I want to defend myself better." You said, sitting up. "Is it because you're shorter than most people here?" He joked and you punched his shoulder playfully. "No.. Maybe." You said, causing Jack to smile. His smile sent a wave of calmness over you. He didn't smile often, so this made you smile back at him.
He put the bandages in one of his drawers and sat on the bed with you. "You can't lie, I was good at defending myself out there." You jokingly say. "Yeah, you messed up his nose badly. It started bleeding rapidly." He says, laying down and staring at the ceiling.
"I'm not mad that you defended yourself. Just be careful next time. Some of the guys here are looking for fights for no reason." He said and you nodded. "I know. I promise." You said and he smiled again.
"Great. Come on." He says and you look at him confused. "What? You said I have to be careful around those guys. What's the deal?" You asked. "You're going to watch me train." He says and your face turns red for a bit. "Oh?" You said and Jack scratches his head. "That is if you want to. You know you don't have to." He says.
"No no. I'll watch. Maybe I can learn some more ways to defend myself." You said and his face brightens up. You could've sworn you saw his tail wagging a bit. The two of you leave his room and practice training together. Luckily, no one else bothered you two.
