I slowly opened my eyes as my maid, Ailsa, and personal best friend walked into the room. "Good morning, Edine!" Said the overly cheerful woman. Oh God was she getting married?
"Mornin' Ailsa!" I said.
God the last few years had been torture. POTTY TRAINING SUCKS.
I understand every babies struggles.
On another note, I'm turning four in a few days. Only 10 more years and I'm back to my level of maturity in body as well!
Ailsa smiled at me. "Your mother is visiting today."
That's another thing. Mother, better known as Queen Malvina of the Honerable and Mighty Clan of Mulkey, néé MacDougall, was prone to sporadic visits to me and my two other siblings, Rhona and Balloch. That's a odd thing, you know? In Heart's Remorse, Edine's past is never mentioned, her family, friends, everything is just...unrelavent. Mother is my favorite person ever. She's just so...poetic! And ahead of her time...She knows so many things and she sewed me a blanket last week, and it's just so comfortable. My old mother never did that, you know?
It's weird being a princess. Everyone has to be very formal with me and I'm already being taught manners. I don't know how to feel about royal life. The castle is HUGE! (pictures at the end xx) and I would love to explore it if anyone would let me, but alas, I am three in this world.
"We best get you dressed, hm? Perhaps your Father will be present too!" She picked me up and we spun around as I giggled helplessly.
