I opened the door and let her inside. I then shut the door, took step into the house, and saw Gracie freeze in front of me. There standing in the kitchen, looking at the small drawings on the fridge was the famous Captain America. I looked up at him and Gracie ran back to me, standing beside me hanging onto my leg.

"Who is he Bucky?" She whispered, I placed my hand onto her head and rubbed it softly. I watched as the man in front of us turned and looked at us. He looked at me and then his eyes travel down to the small girl wrapped around my legs.

"Which Bucky am I talking to?" He asked, looking back up to me.
"Your Steve, I read about you in a museum." I answered. He nodded his head.
"I know your nervous, you have every reason to be." He took a step closer to me and I turned my body, shielding Gracie.

"But you're lying." He stated. I looked down to Gracie who was looking up at me.

"I wasn't in Vienna; I don't do that anymore." I answered him.
"Well, the people that think you did are coming here now." I stood up straighter, they were coming for me.
"And they're not planning on taking you alive." Gracie, what was going to happen to her.

"That's smart, good strategy." I mumbled. I took off my jumper, revealing a bulletproof vest. I lent down and covered a very confused Gracie with the material.
"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck." I rested my hand on Gracie's cheek before standing up straight. I sighed looking at Steve.
"It always ends in a fight." I turned towards the door hearing shuffling.

"You pulled me from the river why?" Steve snapped. I thought for a moment, I never knew the answered , it just seemed like the right thing to do.
"I don't know." I answered. I heard Steve's earpiece start to shout and suddenly a shoch grenade threw through the window, smashing it. I quickly grabbed Gracie's hand and threw her in the direction of the counter which she scrambled under. By the looks of her eyes, she was petrified.

(Gracie's POV)

My breaths short and ragged. I watch as my Bucky fought off men dressed in black. I saw how he effortlessly misdirected bombs and fight off each guard with minimal effort. The weird vest he had put on my earlier was way too big for me, but I kept it on. There were loud bangs, shouting and shattering of windows pains as more and more men came storming into our home, the home that was a safe haven for me. Bucky had been so kind to take me off of the streets and we had ground close to each other over the last year we had been together. It had been a pleasant morning this morning. We had my favourite breakfast and then we had gone out to the market. But the market was very unwelcoming and felt cold to me and Bucky as we walked down the seemingly never ending store strip. All the storeowners that would usually welcome us into the store seemed distant and only talked to us when telling us the price. Bucky had told me on the way home that we were going on an adventure, but I never got to packing up my belongings before I spotted a man in our kitchen. I sat now, under the kitchen counter, dressed in something way to big, covering my ears from the loud noises that were echoing around the small apartment and watching as my Bucky was fighting of men with large guns and dressed in black.

I then heard talking. I uncovered my ears and heard Bucky.

"I'm not going to kill anyone." His voice said but I didn't understand him. . He pulled out his secret backpack and threw it out of the window. More agents came inside, and he was quick to knock them out. He then walked over to me and coaxed me out. I crawled out and he grabbed me into his arms and hugged me.
"E în regulă păpușa, e în regulă. Am nevoie doar să te ții de mine și să nu dai drumul, bine? (It's okay doll, it's okay. I just need you to hold on to me and not let go, okay?)" He said to me, pulling away and looking me in the eye. I nodded and he pulled me onto his back. I gripped onto his shoulders, and he stood up and started running to the door. I clenched my eyes shut as I gripped onto his shirt. I listen as he punches and knocks out every soldier that comes at him. Bullets sprayed around me, and I could fell some of them falling off my back. I winced as I felt them hit my back. I let out a small yelp of surprise as I fell us fall down multiple flights of stairs. There was punching and kicks and bashing heads and then we were falling again. I looked up and saw us dangling from a railing. Bucky groaned as he hauled us up and over it. He kicked down a door and quickly I felt him start to run. I gripped onto his shoulders as he jumped of the edge of the building, and I screamed.
