Wraith
"Frost, how copy?" I say into my radio only to be answered with static. "Frost?!" I yell then I drop to one knee and start hitting the ground with my gloved hands. I hear someone approaching me from the side and a shotgun rack a slug then feel the barrel of the gun at the base of my skull.
"Get up. Slowly with your hands up above your shoulders where I can see 'em," a feminine voice says to soft and light to be Frosts.
"Ok," I get up spreading my fingers for quicker reactions for what I'm about to do. "So you come here often or is this just a one time thing?" I ask sarcastically and get rewarded with a strong hook to the side of the head.
"Shut up," a guy says his voice muffled from something, I assume from a mask of some kind.
"Have you found anything of interest, Jordan?" The female asks the man.
"No, I haven't yet," the man whose name is Jordan replies spinning me around slowly taking all of my weapons.
"No what?" The female asks staring hard at the man with a long scar running from his brow to his jawline.
"No ma'am," the man says gritted teeth.
"Hey, don't cop an attitude with me, remember I hate this just as much as you, but we have to do this any way possible and gather as much Intel as possible too. I'd rather be in one of the safe houses guarding the fuckin' hostages. So fuck off dipshit!"
"I don't care if your my superior or not I will kill you right here right now and not have a second thought about it, then I'll just march my happy ass to one of the safe houses and tell them that you were killed by the chemical attack," the man hisses very clearly pissed off.
(A/N: Ok so I was extremely fuckin tired when I wrote this one fight scene, so just ignore the fact that Gaege is hiding despite me having said that he got caught in the previous couple of paragraphs. My bad, sorry :). )
I hear a pistol slide racking a round into the chamber and the female tell the man, "give me one reason why I shouldn't k-" she stops mid-sentence cocking her head to the side listening and I stop moving trying to make not much noise. She comes closer scanning the room closely moving way too close that I'm forced to hold my breath until she goes away. My luck turns out to be against me because she steps closer and bumps into me forcing me to hop up and aim a right flat hand jab at her sternum which she deftly dodges punching me in the throat while spinning.
At this point the guy, Jordan, jumps in the fray and grabs my left arm and wrenches it backwards near the breaking point making me grunt at the sudden pressure on my arm. I snap kick him in the abdomen with my left leg making the grip on my left arm contract even more and making me squint behind my mask.
"One more move like that and I'll break your arm!" Jordan growls pulling my arm back till I can feel micro-tears in my biceps. The woman on the other hand charges at me aiming a kick at my legs which I dodge and grab her throat, grip and bring her close to my masked face and growl, "set your lap dog loose or I'll rip out your throat,"
"Jordan, let him go," she says fear clear in her voice and eyes wide.
"Why? Why would I let him go? Just because you fear for your life and aren't dedicated to the cause like I am, so no I wo-," Jordan scolds the woman then a sharp crack interrupts him. He lets go of my arm and the lifeless drops to the floor with a thud.
"Ok you can let her go," a cold feminine voice says behind me.
"Why should I? Shouldn't I just crush her trachea and leave her here to die slowly? She's one of THEM too, so again I ask why?" I lament not looking back at the person.
