[The scene changes to Cal and Adam walking on the a sidewalk with a sword and sheath on hand.]
Adam: This was a great choice, Cal. I think this matches his personality.
Cal: I thought so! Let's leave it on his table, so when he returns home, it will be the first thing he see's.
[Both of them are excited, but express it entirely different. The energy levels do not match, but are equally as intrigued in this idea. Adam, does not stop staring at the sword, while Cal is fidgety and louder then her normal speech.]
Adam: I really do feel bad I broke his old one just to make a point.
Cal: I think it was for the best really. He can be really stubborn and sometimes he needs to learn the hard way sometimes. But this is good! Because he actually needed a new sword.
Adam: I like to think of this as an apology.
[They make it to the house and leave the sword on the table.]
Cal: There. Now, we just wait for his call saying he found it.
[The scene changes with the sound of a gunshot being fired from a larger piece of weaponry. An assault rifle is being shot by an unknown man. He is wearing a black cowboy hat and is hyper focused on shooting the targets. After the first shot was fired another voice is heard off screen.]
Voice 1: Hit. Dead center. That's the third one in a row.
[A man in his 40s, that is larger in size, is sitting on a chair looking through a scope. He is wearing overalls and seems to be balding.]
Voice 1: Are you sure this is your first time?
[The guy with the cowboy hat does not respond and instead replies with shooting again. Then again. And then very rapidly. With every shot, the metal target makes a sound that ensures the bullet has hit the target. Between shots the bald guy looks through his scopes as quickly as he can to see the outcome.]
🎶
Voice 1: Dear God.. You're a natural, Haha![The bald guy smiles in excitement. At this point the assault rifle has reached the end of the magazine. The cowboy stands up and looks at the bald man]
Voice 1: What's wrong pal? You just hit every damn shot you took!
[The cowboy looks displeased and seems almost disgusted at the remarks of the bald guy.]
Cowboy: We're in the middle of nowhere near the woods. Tell me where the sword is... pal.
[He said pal mockingly. The cowboys Voice is deep and threatening as he steps closer with every word looking in the eyes of the bald guy who at this point looks scared and innocent.]
Bald guy: Hey man. I don't know what you're talking about?.
[The cowboy draws his gun from his side and points it at his head. The gun clicks]
Cowboy: I damn well know you know something. Now tell me Dave, do you really believe in your God?
Dave: You're a psychopath!
Cowboy: look Dave. Going to church with you all these years only to find out you've cheated on your wife twice, beat her every day, commit fraud in every way possible and use that money to buy bullshit, neglect your children and.. I have even read your records Dave. OH, you don't want me to go there, do you? Did those bad things to those 13 year old boys at the age of 20 and you still have the balls to call me the psychopath, Dave?
Dave: Stop. I'm sorry for what I've done okay? When everything in life goes wrong, you start to hate it okay! There is no point of return from where I am at. I have accepted my fate. I hate my life, I get it. But, please. Spare me, I have nothing in life and for you to take it rather then me will make my entire life pointless.
Cowboy: You have one option really. Who knows about the sword?
Dave: There are stories and urban legends told of a sword that lies within these woods themselves. They were sent by god himself to find the next Prophet. No one knows the whereabouts of it-
Cowboy: LIES!
Dave: There are rumors that fortune tellers in the area know about it and have a vague idea of where it is at. You can go there and -
Cowboy: cut to the chase, Dave. What did the fortune tellers tell you?
[Dave looks terrified of the fact that he knows everything about him. He looks up to meet his gaze slowly]
Dave: The sword is in those woods. Hidden away from folk like you. What do you need the sword for huh? You're not anywhere near to God as much as you say you are either, you fool.
Cowboy: you're not the one, huh. All you wanted to see is if you had a chance to redeem yourself for once in your life. You're no one Dave. And you will continue to be. You've made a grave mistake asking for that sword with everything you've done. You disgust me stepping inside what you call "holy church." having perverted thoughts about the women there constantly. I know you Dave. You've stepped too far to be asking about the sword now have you?
[Dave looks at him as his demeanor has calmed down tremendously and his face is emotionless.]
Cowboy: You have now zero options. I'll see you in hell, Dave.
[The cowboy let's go of Dave and starts to walk away and with his back turned. As he walks away Dave speaks. But, this is different as his physical mouth does not move to create a voice. His voice gives off a strange echoe and sounds distant.]
Dave: I don't deserve to live anymore. I have to end -
[Dave reaches for a hand gun and points it at his head as he talks to himself? The cowboy, without looking, aims his handgun behind his back aiming at Dave and shoots him before he ends his own life. A green mist pulls from Dave's body, to the gun the cowboy is holding. The cowboy brings the gun to his mouth and whispers to it]
Cowboy: I'll see you hell, Dave.
[The cowboy smiles and continues to walk away]
