[Elazen is seen sitting criss cross in the center of a field of grass. In front of him lies the sword, Blarim, planted on the grounded. The sound of the wind is strong, and the distant chirping of the birds makes this environment peaceful and harmonious to an extent. Watching from a distance sitting on a log is Adam and Cal, waiting for elazen in boredom. Cal has her hands supporting her head as she waits for any movement, while Adam sits patiently and even uses this time for himself to relax as he waits.]

Blarim: Relax.. breathe.. Pay attention to your surroundings without sight.

[Elazen has his eyes shut. As elazen relaxes and attempts to make a connection, he starts to flinch and squint harder. The deeper his meditation state goes, the harder it is for him to hold it. Elazen does not stop and continues on.]

(Elazen gets a sudden flashback of the last time he saw his sister. Then his mind conjures up another stored memory of the first time he saw the sword. Then another. This time, he sees something he didn't physically see. Elazen watches Dena talk to the King directly. No sound is heard. Just the distant void of his mind conjuring thoughts. Whatever that may sound like, it sounds empty and silent, yet loud. Then, he gets a glimpse of Dena stowing away a second device that presumably was the device that was used to betray the group. As Elazen's emotions try to stay stable, he feels his body get pulled in a direction. It's as if his mind is forcing him to be here. The inside of a mall. The civilians are seen fleeing the area because of the loud booming sounds that echoe inside. Finally, being able to hear sound. Screaming. Fear. The sudden screams of the civilians next to him and then the sudden stop as they fall to the ground next to Elazen. Elazen looks up at the gunman who is shooting at the crowd. The gunman looks directly at Elazens eyes and quikdraws his gun towards him. Simultaneously, Elazen conjures up his sword that was not on him at the time of the flashback. The sword appears on his back as he grabs it and instinctively goes to reflect the fast-moving projectile bullet. Elazen held the sword in front of him as the rifle was shot. Hearing the echo of that particular shot silenced everything around Elazen. He stands there in dead silence, not knowing if he successfully deflected the bullet. The harsh breathing of Elazen as his heart pounds is only getting louder and louder. Until a *thump* is heard. Elazen turns around to see the bullet have passed right through him and hit a man. The *thump* was the sound of the man falling to the ground. Elazen looks back towards the gunman and realizes that he has already left. A distant voice is heard trying to get Elazens attention.)

Cal:... Elazen? Elazen!?

[Elazen wakes up from his meditative state]

Elazen: AH! What happened? Where am I?

Cal: You haven't moved. How do you feel? Are you okay?

Elazen: I feel - I felt like I wasn't here.

Adam: Uh, Cal?

[Cal turns to look at Adam, who is a couple feet away. He points to the ground beneath her. As Cal looks down, small thin vines have wrapped around her shoes.]

Cal: What the-? What is that?

[She steps back to realize that the grass and plants have grown exponentially compared to the rest of the field, not around him.]

Elazen: Well, that wasn't there before.

[Elazen stands up and grabs the sword from the ground. As the tip of the sword stops touching the ground, a large vine sprouts from the entryway, making elazen lose his balance as he falls backwards.]

Elazen: AH!

[Elazen completely loses his balance and starts to fall on his back. Instinctively, sword on hand, reverse grips the sword to be pointed towards the ground to plant the sword before he lands. The sword thrusts into the ground. Many large vines sprout from underneath Elazen to create an inclined bedding that stops him from hitting the ground completely. Elazen slowly opens his eyes to see Cal and Adam with weapons in hand defensively and mouth wide open in awe. Adam slowly points his finger at Elazen's general direction]
