When it Strikes

(Both Adam and Cal are not seen in the scene as Elazen sits on his own, playing with the grass with his fingers. Running through the blades of grass as if he was caressing it with care. He takes a deep breath in and exhales sharply. It's as if his body is just part of nature and letting it flow through the wind. His hand hover slightly above the grass as he waves slightly above it. His eyes closed, completely in control and aware of his surroundings. A soft rustle in the trees catches Elazen's attention as he sharply and precisely opens his eyes and turns his head directly towards the sound. A squirrel stops and eats a nut it had found, and Elazen sighs in relief.)

Blarim: You're doing very well. You're sharper than I had imagined.

Elazen: It's hard getting used to being able to feel slight shifts in the environment.

Blarim: This technique can help you relax and be a part of the world around you.

Elazen: it certainly feels like I'm part of it, alright.

Blarim: it's because you are. Try again, this time relax and let the wind take you.

(Elazen closes his eyes again. He takes another breath in and exhales. Then, a sudden breeze pushes his body. The leaves hit his face as elazen tries to concentrate.)

Blarim: Focus. Reach from within.

(Elazen goes back to a relaxed state as the wind continues and grows stronger. Elazen has the sudden urge to follow the direction of the wind with his arms and hands. Slowly moving them with the wind, he can feel a slight rhythm. A pattern. A sense of direction and predictability. His hands continue to flow through the air as he gracefully seems to be conducting the wind up to this point. Almost as an interpretive dance, Elazen has been sitting criss cross and moving his arms and hands in a way that seems methodical and with purpose. Eyes still closed, Elazen is moving with the wind. Moving with the trees, with the blades of grass, even as chaotic as the leaves moving in circles through the area, he is able to follow the flow of how the leaves will flow through the air with the point of his finger as he draws circles as the leaves loop in the wind.)

Blarim: Elazen, welcome to the Auras Apogee. The highest form of being able to connect yourself with the world. Your state of mind is still not ready for constant climax.

Elazen: That sounds awfully erotic in its own way.

Blarim: There's still much for you to learn in order to consistently be able to see without seeing.

Elazen: This feels like I'm not even here, more than it already has, but in an extremely good way.

Blarim: You are now experince what we call: Nature's grasp. A feeling that makes you emotionally tied to nature itself. Everything around you is life. Everything breathing the air has its purpose in life. The very air you are sharing willingly. everything In this world is connected. The nonliving objects, the living beings, and even the air we breathe. They all have an aura. This is also the first time you will feel paranoid as you get used to it.

(Elazen feels a sudden shift in the environment that he takes notice immediately. Something way stronger than before. Something immensely larger than a soft break of a squarells doing. Elazen gets up and takes up in arms as he holds his Blade in front, awaiting whatever may be coming his way. The breaking of wood and leaves crunching is loud in his ear and is getting closer and closer. Louder and louder with each pace? Step? Skip? Pounce? Multiple can be heard at once. Something on all 4? "Does it see me?" He asks himself as the aura is growing stronger, disrupting more of the environment he is in. Without question, Elazen thrusts his sword to the ground. The sword pierces the soft dirt with ease. As he thrusts his blade to the ground, a simultaneous vine sprouts uncontrollably fast in the general direction of the disruptive noise. It sprouted away from him, almost as if he directed it with his sword by commanding it as he thrusts his blade in. The vine stops growing and creates this wall as a defensive barrier between him and the noise. The noise suddenly stopped. Elazen looks in the direction and waits patiently for a response. It's still there and alive. Then a familiar voice is heard.)
