FINAL CHAPTER
Page 100- _Despair of Accost Splendour_
A while passed deeply sound asleep when she heard a voice growing to a yell. Lights on, her bleary eyes blinked to the unobstructed view of furious Aigasaki.
Merumi.... _I've been trying to wake you up for the last two or three minutes but every second i look away you immediately go back to sleep! Come on we need to get off!_
Rintarõ.... _Ok ok, you don't have to yell at my face._ *sighs*
She stretched out a little before releasing a deep sigh baffled by her loud yawning. Out in the open, the risen sun's warm rays struck directly into her eyes leading to a whining squeak. Focused on getting her friend to school on time, Ai ignored the annoying sound, squeezed Rin's hand and pulled her to the Koniaki grounds. They arrived just in time before the gatekeeper could close out latecomers.
For some reason Haruno didn't care if she would get late or not. The only joyful thought in her mind was the whimsy feeling dancing right around her heart. Every beat tuned to a different pattern than usual with one desire lingering within. Even though she didn't mumble or murmur anything, the expression on her face was clearly obvious. She badly wanted to see Keisuke, to feel the sensational surprise kiss from before. Mind filled with his face, her pace suddenly changed to a faster speed than Merumi. "Hey Ai, be quick. We shouldn't be late for class!,” she yelled while quickly walking along the red black pavement. She gently pushed in the main entrance doors only to be greeted by a grinning young man with ice white hair.
Rintarõ.... _Ahh! Seigi good morning._
Kisami.... _Morning miss Rintaro. How are you today?._
Rintarõ.... _I'm ok thanks for asking._
Kisami.... _Is this your friend?_
Merumi.... _Er yes i am. Sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Aigasaki Merumi._
Kisami.... _Don't worry, you don't have to lie to me. I know your name and all about you from Kiyohime._
Merumi.... _I see..., then i could say the same about you Ki... hehe it almost slipped. Seigi is your alias at this school right?_
Kisami.... _I can see you've got one hell of a friend there Rin. See you later~_
Rintarõ.... _Sure!_
Kisami..... _Oh and by the way, i heard Keisuke and Takahiro aren't coming today._
Prince Seigi while undercover, whispered the little update and hurried upstairs. If anything Rin was confused about the way Ai and Kisami talked to each other. They had a certain air leaking out," we know and hate each other.” But bothered by the little update, she hardly seemed interested with inquisition. She turned to move to her locker and change shoes.
Downright wallowing in disappointment, she felt something touch her pocket while moving among the hundreds of students busy changing and gossiping. Unable to pull it out because of the predator eyes surrounding her and hungry for gossip, she quickly changed and went to class alongside her best friend.
At first her eyes looked around to see if Kei was actually absent and sadly the feared turned out to be true. Settled and drowning in curiosity, her left hand took out a small white paper and on first glance noticed," Read this very carefully". She flipped out the corners and unfolded the damn thing.
_To little miss Haruno...., i know you've got class and honor student stuff to do so i'll be quick. I want you to end your relationship with prince Keisuke and stop being friends with anyone from the imperial family. If you impose on the above, then sadly i'll not be held accountable to what happens next. Please do not take it personally for it's as simple as written. I hope you will understand, goodbye. Yours truly..... The Unknown_
Soon as she finished reading, Rin was left hanging over a cliff of horror. Countless thoughts haunted her head as she passed the paper to Merumi. And not so different Ai gasped soon after. Eyes set ablaze with rage, she tore the thing to bits and pieces casting a worried look over Rin's troubled face. First time counted for trying to get her to talk or express some sort of anger, but Haruno remained emotionless for the remainder of the day.
Together they walked to her house under a cloudy sunset after a worryingly quiet day. Her eyes were half closed and dull while walking slowly towards her front door.
Merumi.... _Umm Rin, i can stay if you want._
She simply nodded "no" with enough gestures to say you can go home. As much as she wanted to stay, she couldn't help but feel the need to give her friend some time to process the terrifying situation.
Rintaro slowly stepped into the house, slammed the door behind and dived straight into a pool of tears. She decided to wash away some unwanted thoughts, but unfortunately the cursed day wouldn't let her. Her phone vibrated from the crimson skirt pockets and she just felt like throwing it away when a familiar voice came through. "Did i answer it by mistake?,” she asked herself while putting it on speaker.
Rintarõ.... _Who is it?_
????.... _Phew!, it's good to hear your voice Rin, but i've got something important to tell you._
Rintarõ.... _Big bro Takashi is that you?_
Takashi.... _Yep!, unfortunately we can't speak for long but i want you to listen very carefully. I need you to drop out of Koniaki High. And stay away from anyone related to the imperial family as far as possible. Including those brothers i saw on the news. I'll explain the whole truth when i get there, bye!~_
Rintarõ.... _Wait!_
_Little miss genius_ tried shouting but Takashi had already hung up. Her eyes glowed with a wistful sparkle failing to understand the recent events. "What the heck is going on!?,” her voice screamed in the walls of her mind. She saw the world before her fade to black while falling to the ground. Wondering what would be the first thing or person to chance in sight afterwards, her head hit the floor.
The End..........❤️❤️❤️
