GRAY'S POV
Uhnn.. what time is it? *looking at the clock* oh! It's five in the morning. I can't asleep anymore. Maybe i should do the mining.
I just ate bread with milk for my breakfast. Then off to the mine.
I usually brought my lantern and my hammer. When i arrived, I smash some stones using my hammer.
Ting! Ting! Ting!
Huh?! What was that? As far as I know, only me whose been mining for years. But, i wonder who is it.
Hey, it has a ladder down! And that sound's coming down there! I've gotta check it out!
I brought my lantern and hid from the rocks.
I picked a piece of a small rock and threw it to the person who is mining seriously. After that it scream. It's a girl! I can't believe a girl can mine too. I wonder who is it.
"Who's there?"
Wait, i know that voice! It's Claire!
"If you don't come out.. i..i'll kill you!" she said in a scared tone.
"Calm down it's just me!" I shouted then i show myself up.
"Oh..Grayyy!!" she run towards me and cried while hugging me.
"You don't know how i got so scared!" she cried out loud.
"Um..I'm sorry if I scared you. I was just surprise to see other than me mining. I thought you're not from this town."
"No it's ok." then she wiped her tears.
Well, this is totally awkward. After that we got off to the mine.
As we walk along the way, i looked at her. She's watching the birds flew to the sky.
"Hey Gray! Why don't you come to my farm?"
"Well,sure. By the way, why are you mining?"
"Well, I thought i could make more money while my crops are still growing. How about you?"
"Well, I use them for my work."
She just nodded.
We already arrived to her farm. Well it's kinda better than before. She's really working hard. Now, she's running in the fields watering the plants. She impress me a lot. It makes me inspired her to do the same. I've got to work hard too.
"Hey Blonde, what time is it?" I asked.
"Well, it's already 8 in the morning."
Huh?!! It's already 8?!
"I've got to go now! Bye!"
"Ooook..bye!"
I run as fast as i could,then i arrived.
"Why are you late again?" asked gramps.
"It doesn't matter anyway!"
I glanced when someone opened the door.
"Hello. Hi Gray!" Claire greeted.
"Hi" i said coldly.
"Hello there. Are you the new one? The one from the farm?"
"Yes. I'm Claire."
"You look familiar. I think i saw you before."
"You're right, Mr. Saibara. I'm Gray's childhood friend back at the city. The one who cried so loud when you brought Gray in here." Claire explained.
"Ohohoho! I see I see. So I that's the reason Gray always come late."
Ugh! Whatever!
"I'm sorry if i make Gray late!"
"Ohoho! It's okay. I've known you for so long. So why are you in here?"
"Well i was going to upgrade my tool."
"Oh! Do you have some ore?"
"Gah! I sold them all! I'm sorry i'll get it tomorrow!"
Claire's such a clumsy person. Hahaha!
"It's ok. I can wait any longer. As far as i lived! Hahaha!"
That's very odd. I've never saw gramps laugh before!
"Well see you Mr. Saibara. Gotta go Gray!"
"Ok! Bye!" I smiled.
CLAIRE'S POV
I was sooo clumsy at all! I forgot to bring one! I sold them all! But anyway, i've got to mine tomorrow! I'll make sure i won't forget!

What should i do now? Good thing i finished my work already. I'm soo tired! Gotta sleep first.
"Claire! Hey wake up! Blonde! Hey!"
Uhhnn... what is it now? I know that voice.
"Wh-what are you doing in here Gray?" I said while rubbing my eyes.
"I just wanted to visit you when i saw you sleeping in your field."
"Hey Gray, can you teach me, like the way you're mining?"
"Sure."
We go to the mine. After that, he showed me how. But it's so hard. The hammer is so big and heavy! Man's strenght is different compared to a woman's strength.
After a hundred years of practicing! Glad it was finished! Phew! I'm so tired! But i did knew some things.
"Thanks Gray! That really help me a lot!"
"No problem. I can help you as far as i can. Hey, check this one out!"
He handed me an ore.
"Woah! So shiny! Where did you get it?"
"In the lower part of the mine of course!"
"Wow!"
After that, we exchange goodbyes and part ways.
Morning
Oh, Gotta go to the mine!
I went outside and looked at my dog poochie.
"Come here boy!"
"Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!"
It came towards me and i hug it. It started licking at my face and I laugh.
After that, I leave the farm and walk to the mine.
Of course! I won't forget my hammer!
I went in and started to pound.
