Chapter XLIV: I Don't Want To

In a few days, the inter-school basketball league will officially commence and so Dwight High's varsity team and all of Dwight High are giving extra time and effort to these remaining days.

Them, being excused from classes most of the time, shows how the school and its faculties support their very own team so that they could get this season's championship, again.

In the Chemistry lab, which is their last class for today, every student especially their classmates is excited for the class to end so they could head to the school gym to watch and support the varsity team in their practice.

"I can't wait to see my jagiii~" Jennie whined silently with her friends. The cheerleading team is also always excused, except this specific time since their coach needs to do some errands.

"Oh poor you~ don't worry, we'll go to the gym later before our practice so you will see your jagi~" replied Annie. Unconsciously, Chaeyoung turned to their side.

"What are you looking at, chipmunk?!" Annie said raspily to Chaeyoung in a whisper but sharp tone.

"Well, I heard some freaking noise in this quiet place so yeah I'm gonna look for the source of the noise," Chaeyoung replied in the equal rasper.

Jisoo then nudges Chaeyoung's elbow lightly, signalizing that she doesn't have to deal with the annoying woman. They all know Annie, why wouldn't they? She's Lisa's evil cousin.

"Huh! You're just jealous we're prettier than you freaks!"

"Prettier? Or do you mean smellier? Cause you sure smell, girl."

"Wha-!" Annie is about to get off her seat to go lunge on Chaeyoung but her friends stop her.

"Stop it, Annie. We don't want to start any trouble with... anyone." Jennie said while looking intently at Lisa.

Lisa's friends saw this and they exchange glances. They all cautiously look at Lisa, who was busy mixing chemicals with Bambam.

***bell's ringing***

"Yesss! Now let's go to the gym and cheer Sehun!" Dahyun declared to the group.

"Yah! You're always looking for Sehun aren't you?" Bambam said with malice.

"So what?! I just want to support our big man. Right, Lisa?" Dahyun rebuts. They are all headed out of the classroom into their school gym.

Lisa smiled at how defensive Dahyun is, "Yeah, we'll be Sehun's first fans."

"Right, it would be his first league so let's support him well." Chaeyoung seconded the motion.

"Okay~ then I'll make sure there will be large cheering materials for our man." Jisoo said excitingly.

"But! The most exciting part of it all..." Chaeyoung declared while sneakily smiling, looking at Lisa. Everyone all excitedly looked at Lisa, too. Lisa noticed and started to blush.

"All hail and make way to the most beautiful girl in all of Dwight High!" Dahyun said loudly and every student who heard it looked in their direction. The students are confused but still make a way for Lisa's group.

Lisa is so shy she doesn't know how to cover her face. Bambam then reach for her hand and put it in his arms before walking to the hallway, royalty-like.

"And what is this commotion all about?!" Someone from the crowd says. It is Annie together with Jennie and other cheerleaders.

"Oho.. Well I think you guys haven't informed yet.." Chaeyoung said and on-cue, Jeon Won-woo from the Journalism Club went to the bulletin board and posted an announcement.
