Chapter 31

TAEHYUNG'S POV:

I can't stop thinking about Seokjin. Is Seokjin okay? Did something happen? Is he alright? Did Mr. Choi hurt him? I can't stop worrying.
My whole body is shivering and I feel like throwing up.

I know Mr. Choi, he's a mad man, he would do anything for himself and his company if it means that it's under danger. He's a man who has had many scandals but was never punished for them. I know that he has done sexual assault, has his fingerprints in the black market, has used children and the poor to do his dirty work. He's sick and inhuman.
I know all of these things. These aren't rumours. My father warned me, my mother, everyone who has been involved with him and knows me has warned me.
He's dangerous. He's capable of many things.

Jimin's POV:
The safe has opened and I got all the things that I need. Now I just have to get out of here. This was easier than I thought it would be.

" Jungkook, Taehyung, Seokjin, im done.", i say but no one reacts.
"Hello?" Weird...
"Heelloooo???why aren't you guys responding, can you hear me?"

Suddenly the door falls open. Seokjin is being thrown into the room.

Oh my god.

"Jimin.", Seokjin exclaims with an alarmed and frightened expression.

"Omg Seokjin what is going on?"

"I dont know, Jimin. We have to get out of here."

3rd. person POV:

Suddenly the door opens. 4 men enter the room with Mr. Choi following behind.

Seokjin gulps. Jimin looks at any exits but it's hopeless.

" I knew you two were fishy.", Mr. Choi starts and laughs maniacally.
"Why would a good friend of Seokjin's work at my company all of a sudden?", Mr. Choi asks rhetorically.

"Do you two even know who I am?", Mr. Choi laughs.
"I can ruin your lives, in just one second.", he pulls out his gun.

He orders his men to chain Seokjin and Jimin on two separate chairs.

Mr. Choi takes his gun and points it from head to head.

"Shall I kill you or you first."

"Jimin you could have been a great assistant. Even a cute mingle on the side."

Jimin cringed at that.

"Oh Seokjin, broad shoulders like our careers if you would have started to work together with me. But no, you chose taehyung, I tried everything, every single thing to ruin your reputation, nothing helped. And look at you two now, in love, too bad that the cute love story ends today."

"Why are you doing this?", Seokjin asks. "Why are you trying to kill us?"

"Itsnt it obvious? You two backstabbed me. Now I'm gonna stab you for real."

"You are sick Choi."

"Yes I am, sick of you. Sick of each one of you. Taehyung, you, jimin, taehyungs mother, taehyung father, everyone. I'm sick of everyone. I'm sick of being the second best, I'm sick of being the second option. I'm SICK OF IT. but I found a solution. I kill until no other is left for the first place other than me.
So say bye bye to your life Seokjin, say bye bye to everyone, because your life ends here."

Choi points the gun towards Seokjin.

Jimin yells "STOP THIS. YOU FUCKING SICK PSYCHOPATH. DONT DO THIS."

"STOP YELLING. UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE KILLED FIRST." Mr Choi says storing to jimin to slap him but...

Suddenly the door flies open.
"DOWN, DOWN TO THE FLOOR, DOWN!" The police yells.

Mr. Choi's eyes turn black.
"I WONT GO DOWN UNTIL I FINALLY RUINED THE KIM FAMILY. IM GOING TO KILL EACH ONE OF THEM." Mr Choi has completely lost it.
Taehyung who came running to the room following the police, watched Mr. Choi point the gun towards Seokjin.

"I'M HERE YOU SICK BASTARD. IM HERE! KILL ME YOU FUCKER, RUIN ME YOU ASSHOLE. I'M HERE WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?", taehyung yells, he wasn't scared of Mr.Choi. He would rather die than let anyone hurt Seokjin.

Mr.Choi laughs and turns around

*PANG*
*loud piercing scream.*

Seokjin's POV:
Everything black, my eyes closed, my ears numb, too scared to open my eyes, to scared to see, to scared to breathe.
1 minute feels like 10 minutes.

"SEOKJIN, SEOKJIN!", only his voice, the only voice I can hear. The only voice that calms me and my heart. The only voice which makes me open my eyes.

Taehyung...
Everything comes crashing down.

"TAEHYUNG!"
The robes around my arms are loose enough to finally take him into my arms.
I wasn't shot , he wasn't shot, jimin wasn't shot. It was Mr. Choi, he was shot.
Tears run down both our faces.
"Taehyung.... I thought something happened to you." I cry into his arms.
"I thought something will happen to you, I was so scared Seokjin so scared." We hug each other to ensure that we are both alright and safe.

Mr. Choi who has been shot was injured and had to be taken to the hospital.
A police officer had shot him when he almost pointed his gun to taehyung.

Two weeks later

It has been two weeks since the incident. It was very traumatic. Mr. Choi has been injured but is alive. He will be going to court at the end of the week.
All the documents and files and recordings were sent to the police as evidence for Mr.Choi's illegal works. It will be used at the court.

Taehyung and I have been supporting each other through these past two weeks. We are anxiously waiting for the results at court, till then we won't be able to relax.

Jimin has been doing better too. It was a really scary experience for him too. But we are both really proud of each other.

COURT DAY

" I can't believe that we have to see that ugly foot crust again", jimin says.

Seokjin laughs.
"One more time and then never again."

"I can't wait to finally send him into prison.", taehyung says.

This was very important to taehyung since Mr. Choi influenced him and his family the most in a bad way.
It was finally time to get justice.

3 hours later.
Mr.Choi was life sentenced for prison. He was a dangerous man and through this whole process there were many more dirty things found out about him.

After we left the court room, taehyung took a deep breath. His family was standing there and he went to hug them.
"Finally."

The decades long lasting tragedy and burden has finally left the Kim family in piece and quiet.
Mr.Choi won't be able to ruin any more lives.
