Stephanie.
Kimani thinks then says, "Yeah, he is a breath of fresh air. But we're so different from each other y'know? I don't know girl, I do like him. But I refuse to ask him on a date. He seems the type to have a million girls chase after him and I ain't be the millionth-thousand" Stephanie laughs at her last remark, Kimani joins in, "If that's even a word"
Stephanie smiles, "He is the catch but, he's just like his father from the time that I've known him. He's not the time to settle for less- better yet that entire family isn't the type to hit below the belt.and you are nothing like less in my eyes"
Kimani chuckles, "You so cute when you trying to be sweet"
Stephanie laughs, "Shut up I'm serious..."
Stephanie's words soon came to a hault when Zelda answered the door who appeared to be none other than Christopher standing there.
These past few months Christopher and Stephanie seemed to get very close. Stephanie doesn't just see him as the handyman but as a friend, just like Kimani.
Even while working both seem to get distracted with each others conversation that's endowed with laughter, smiles and admiration for each other.
Same goes for Christopher, he always looks forward to working in Stephanie's home, but more so to see her and get to know more about her.
Christopher believes if Stephanie wasn't married she'd definitely be the catch. Everyday he seems to think about how lucky her husband is- even though, all the times he's been working in their home, he never once has seen her husband.
In his eyes, he sees Stephanie as confident, educated, beautiful- very attractive, and has a good head on her shoulders.
All the things he's deeply attracted too in a woman that he hasn't saw in what seems like a decade ago.
But even so, he still can't bring himself to tell her the real truth about him working as a handyman in her home.
He doesn't believe Stephanie will judge him but he doesn't wanna change the growing friendship they have grown together in these past two months that felt like a lifetime.
So for now...he stays quiet on that subject. But a part of him hates that he feels like he's lying to her. It's almost as if...he feels he owes her in a way of being so kind and open with him.
The attraction and lust still wonders. And how both respond to it is either looking at each others eyes in silence or breaking the ice with playful laughter.
Ladies present stared Christopher down as soon as he entered the room.
Stacy, Kimani's co-worker says, "Stephanie you didn't say a stripper or model was coming to the opening" She flirts by winking her eye and biting on her bottom lip at Christopher.
A customer, waves and says flirtatiously, "Hi"
"Hey" Christopher waves with a smirk.
"He ain't no stripper Stacy" Kimani glares at Stacy, "Sorry Chris"
Christopher and Kimani have even become cordial with each other these past two months. And as much as Stephanie likes to point out the attraction she sees both Kimani and Simon have, Kimani also sees to what she would call, an innocent crush Stephanie has on the handyman.
But Kimani assures it's nothing more than that and knows her friend, Stephanie.
Then another co-worker of her replies, "Ok, if not a stripper or model, it don't matter this nigga is fine" Ladies then burst out in laughter.
