Chapter 14: An anomaly appears

I was leaving Chairman Sakayanagi's office and on my way I saw a purple haired person glancing at me. He seemed to be in casual clothing and his hands were in his pockets yet something about him gave a little unusual vibe which was different from any other ordinary person but I couldn't seem to understand him. This was my first time seeing such a person at school. He began to walk into the office and I decided to leave the place. 

I saw manabu standing near the stairs waiting for me. 

"How did it go ?" he asked. 

"Nothing surprising to be honest, our chairman seems like a coward. By the way do you know who was that person with purple hair ?" I asked. 

"coward ? What do you mean ?" he asked. "It's a long story I will explain later." I answered. 

"That guy you were asking about is the detective, reports say he has some ego issues which will make him work in his own ways so student council cannot interfere and also have to help him." 

"Oh, thanks manabu-san. I will be going back to work now." 

I started walking back to my office. Katsuragi and ichinose were standing outside my room. "Hello good people, sorry for being a little late." 

"It's ok lost-san. Shall we enter the office ?" "yeah, sure." I opened the door and we entered the room. Suzune was making a tea there and she welcomed all of us. Katsuragi and ichinose took their seat on the sofa and in front of the sofa there was a table. On top of that table there was a box full of hard disks and beside that were some documents related to student council's budget and spending record. 

"I want you two pick up those documents and visit manabu-san. There have been some major anomalies in them and I think those were the result of nagumo-san's presence or it could be because of some teacher. Katsuragi-san I'm going to make you the in charge of this project and consider ichinose-san as your temporary secretory. Feel free to take the help of utomiya-kun too." I told them about their jobs. One after another mysteries were lining up and it was becoming hard to focus. I did not expect council work to be this serious. 

"Excuse me, can I ask what are these hard disks doing here ?" Katsuragi asked. 

"No, This is not of your concerns and we are not allowed to reveal any kind of detail." said horikita as she walked near Katsuragi and picked up the box. 

"You don't need to sound that harsh Suzune." I said. 

"It's ok lost-san, she is just doing her duty." said katsuragi. He looked annoyed but he understood the situation and acted calmly. His stoic look was genuinely admirable 

"I think it's time we leave katsuragi-san, Utomiya-kun must be waiting for us in the meeting hall." "Yeah that's right." 

Both of them stood up with their documents and left the office and suzune locked the door. She looked at me with a weird expression of anger and began to walk closer to me. With each step I could feel the pressure she was exerting on me. She came near me and kicked me on my leg. 

"Never do that again in front of ni-san, You almost embarrassed me." said suzune. I smiled and looked back at her and got up walking closer to her. 

"Oh ?" As I was now walking closer to her she started walking backwards with each step and i leaned on her a little to get my face closer to hers. 

"and what if I do it next time ? what are you going to do then little suzune ?" I tried to intimidate her.

ever since few days both of us may have been getting closer but I still need to keep things in check or it will end up becoming problematic for me later. She turned her face away. I held her face and turned it back so that I can enjoy that submissive behavior of hers.
