Lost one's POV

I woke up at 3:33 am and I was in a perfect mood to plant some seeds for the plan of bestowing some chaos to this school. I stood up and walked to the mirror and looked at my body admiring it and picked up my shirt to wear it and left the room. I was walking towards a gym. Considering that the gym here in school charged some money for joining meant that the only people that I will see there are going to be seriously dedicated.

I entered the gym and saw only 1 person there. It was the same blond guy I saw in the bus.

"Hello perfect existence-kun. I am the Lost one. Seems like it's just two of us." I tried to initiate a conversation with him, smiling like usual and looking into eyes.

"hehe, I don't mind you calling me by my true title but I want my gym partner to at least know my name. It's Rokusuke koenji"

We began exercising as I noticed koenji had just started his warm up exercises and damn this boy was strong. We were training our chest today and It was visibly impressive how much weight he could bench press. If it came to pure strength he would surely beat me but who knows if he has the technique required to beat me in a fight.

"Koenji can I ask you some questions ?" I asked him politely as he was bench pressing some weight. It was the second set of this exercise when I decided to ask him this.

"Go on buddy, I don't mind answering some of the doubts of my partner. Yk I'm a humble guy." he replied in his usual narcissistic tone.

"Why did you join this school despite having money and skills to join any college you desire the other way." I asked him a question from the information he told me about during our warm up. (the part which I skipped :} )

"It's because of a couple of reasons, My family had been sending me to win various kinds of competitions ever since I was a child and they felt like if I can get done with school, they will finally have some sense of surety. I simply could have rejected them as I don't this stupid school to prove myself worthy of anything but having a place to do anything I desire for 3 years is not a bad choice." replied koenji.

My eyes lit up after hearing it. His story was a little similar to mine if we can ignore the proving part and the competitions. I could relate to his reasoning and genuinely feel his suffering.

"That's really tragic to hear koenji. I can understand a little how you feel."

"I think you joined the school because of a similar reason, didn't you ?"

"It's your turn now, go on and bench press some weight lost one. Lemme see how much you can perform."

I nodded and reduced 2 5kg-plates from the rod koenji was using and bench pressed the weight. Having a wrestling and martial arts background made me train really hard and it wasn't tough to lift some weights for me.

"I have to say that you are not that bad. I didn't expect you to be this close to perfection. When did you start working out ?" asked koenji. Seems like my new partner is getting curious here.

"I started when I was 10. I was jealous and I felt weak because I couldn't beat a classmate of mine. So i joined martial arts program and started working out as well."

"fufufu, guess someone just started right at my age as well. I am well versed with martial arts as well but it wasn't my primary focus."

"my interest in martial arts also dropped after the age of 13 but I never stopped training. I have been in international fights and competitions as well but winning in something this stupid never made me any happy."
