Halloween on my block

It's October again , can you believe it's been almost a year since that crazy night. Logan's dad is fine it's been months, Logan comes over every month. I walk to Antonio's house whenever I feel like it he does the same.

It's October 29th

I'm sitting here in my house , Charlotte is out of town with family on vacation. My brother is out with his girlfriend so I'm alone for Halloween season.

"In three two one." And I laugh once I hear the knock on my door.

I stand up shaking my head walking to the door. I open it seeing Logan and Antonio at my door.

"I came here first." Antonio says to me pointing to his chest.

"No that was me, you ran across the street just now." Logan says laughing and I laugh at the two play fighting.

"Where's Charlotte?" Antonio asks and I shake my head laughing.

Antonio has a crush on Charlotte, and nobody's knows that. Well no body knows what's going on between them.

"She's out of town unfortunately." I say making a sad face he laughs a little.

"Come in." I say to them letting them into the house.

They come in walking around, they sit at the table with a smile on their face.

"Logan has something to ask you?" Antonio says and Logan hits him.

"Yes?" I say to him he looks down covering his forehead.

"He's asking you on a date."

"When?"

"He said tomorrow."

"I didn't say this Rose."

"I'm setting a date for you two." Antonio says laughing at Logan who is flustered.

"I'll go." I say out loud laughing I grab a drink from the kitchen.

"Crap, my mommy is making chicken and waffles."

"How is that bad?"

"Last time the fire department showed up, I don't know how you mess up waffles Gotta go." He says giving me a hug and running out of my house leaving Logan sitting there.

"Let's watch some tv, why were you guys here anyways."

"I just wanted to see what you were doing." He says laughing we sit on the couch facing the tv.

It's nightmare before Christmas playing right now. I'm watching it for some time then I feel him hold my hand.

I raise an eyebrow looking over to him, trying see if he notice that his hand is on mine now. I know I said he doesn't have to ask but he still asks anyways so this is new.

"Umm Logan." I say in a joking way he looks over to me.

"This is new." I say to him.

"What is?"

"Look down." He looks down seeing that he holding my hand without asking like he usually does.

He's trying to keep a straight face and it's so funny and cute.

"My hand got cold, yea." He says to me and I laugh at him.

"Sure, I'll let this slide."

"Your eyes are pretty." He says looking at me, is he alright?, I touch his forehead to check his temperature.
