As we walked through the forest, Neo actually fell asleep on Owen's back, Owen was looking at the map and then at our surroundings every five seconds, May was blasting music through her headphones, and Me and Jason were just talking.

Owen was at the front with the map and Neo, May was in the middle, and Me and Jason were in the back. Ever since the whole Archery-horse race, he seemed more bold and flirty with me. Not that I was complaining of course, but it was like something clicked inside of him.

As we walked, Me and Jason brushed shoulders and hands a couple times, but every time I just laughed it off. I kept telling myself that he only thought of me as a friend and that's all he will ever think of me as. But then he did something that made any and all thoughts of that fly out the fucking window.

After the fifth or sixth time of us brushing hands, he took my hand in his and intwined our fingers together.

"Holy shit, he's holding my hand!" I screamed happily inside my head

My heart rate instantly picked up and I couldn't stop the smile that was growing on my face. I looked at him shyly as he grinned back at me. I was blushing extremely hard but I honestly didn't care because he was holding my hand!

For the rest of the time that we were walking we held hands and I honestly couldn't have been happier. Jason had this sappy grin on his face that spread from ear to ear. Honestly, as much as I didn't want to admit it, I never wanted it to leave.

"Just friends huh?" I said to myself blushing even more

After a while of walking Owen, May, and Neo suddenly stopped. And they all sounded very upset about something.

Jason sped up to them but as we almost got to them I panicked and let go of his hand. He looked back at me and I saw that has eyes held confusion and a little bit of hurt, but he didn't say anything.

I instantly felt guilty but that feeling quickly faded and was replaced with a new feeling of fear as I looked and saw what everyone was so upset about.

"What the hell?" I whispered in disbelief

We once again had major problems.

One, The path that the map had taken us actually turned out to be a huge clearing surrounded by nothing but forestry.

Two, at the center of it our box was sitting on a massive rock.

Three, that rock was surrounded by a pack of sleeping carnivores.

White Jaguars.
