As I woke up from a lengthy sleep
I opened the door and peeked outside
Your rays beautifully shone through
Illuminating the clear blue skiesI turned my gaze to the plants around
Admiring the flowers basking in your light
How beautiful, how colourful, I said
As I stepped out and savored your warmthWithout you the world will surely turn dark
Without your presence summer will fade
The planet will certainly look bleak
Without your warmth, light and rays.
