When I talk to you
You just reply in silence
It was as though I said nothing
My words failing to reach your ears
I understand that silence is valid at times
But you did it again and again as time goes by
I reached out to you and questioned why
You just responded with silence after a while
I sometimes speak thrice and you won't answer
Until I get confused, upset and angered
You are indifferent to me for a long time now
Our relationship drifts apart as time flies
It started many years ago I recalled
And now it became a habit of yours
It makes me feel offended every time
I can't get used to it no matter how I tried.
