Day after day we argue and fight
Our words cold, bold and sharp
From trivial things to petty stuff
We clash to the top of our lungsI'm tired of it just so you know
But it seems unchangeable despite what I do
I want to end that routine of us so bad
Yet it remained unsolved amidst the ways I triedI want healthy communication
I want less fights
I want peaceful hours with you
I'm tired of shoutsIf I speak calmly
I hope you'll be calm too
I hope you scream less
And talk with your voice low'Cause even if I fight and argue
All I want is to be listened to
So I hope you'll be calmer this time around
As much as I want to be light and soft on you.
