I was a soldier
You were a rebel
Both of us meet
After a battle

You were beautiful
And compassionate
You healed my wounds
Even if were enemies

Later on
We became friends
Until eventually
I fell

But I had a rival
Against your heart
So I fought for you
Luckily I won

We continued
Our romance
You had an offspring
A fruit of our love

Then a war occured
And our paths part
I never saw you again
Until my death.

P.S. This poem is inspired from a true love story.
