"I mean, it's not like I'm not strong enough, I guess I just wasn't made for it," She says. Tanjiro took another bite of his rice cracker as he thought, his chewing abnormally loud and crunchy. "Well, not everyone in the Demon Slayer corp's body was made for a sword. It's good that you can use one even if it's a bit, yes, but you said so yourself that you're better with a gun. And because of that, you're able to use that in replace of the sword. But, I guess I can see where you're getting upset..,"

"I didn't understand a single fucking thing you said just now," Genya admits. Tanjiro finished his bite and sighed, "What I'm trying to say is that even though majority of the corps is using swords and breathing techniques, there's special people like you who is able to manifest their skills into a gun. Not only that but being able to transform into a demon too within a short period of time without loosing yourself is all the more helpful. Especially during our last fight, I don't know how I could have made it without you or Nezuko." Tanjiro states.

"You know, you really do talk a lot. But I get what you mean I guess. It still bothers me from time to time," Genya admits. "If anything, I may end up working more on my demonic form than my actual fighting skills, if it comes to that," She explained. Tanjiro watched as she laid her head in his lap, immediately regretting it after feeling loads of crumbs fall onto her face. "Goddammit! What are you, 5? Learn how to eat without making a mess!" She frustrates.

"But it's not that big of a mess?" Tanjiro argued, shutting up after her gaze.

"Anyways, about what I've been saying since earlier... if I'm able to master my demonic form and be able to contain myself doing so, then maybe I'll end up defeating an Upper ranked demon.. that's a dream if I ever heard one, but I feel like just maybe, then my brother would accept my place in the Demon Slayers...," She wondered.

"I feel like you're misunderstanding him," Tanjiro claimed. Genya cocked her head to the side confused. "What do you mean?"

"His scent. He may always act like he hates you and is always trying to scare you off, but in truth, he really cares about you. He's worried actually. His scent gives off a slight bit of fear when the two of you get on the topic, so I just believe that he's afraid about you getting hurt more than anything. You are his only sibling left, after all," Tanjiro states. Genya waited a moment, allowing him to continue.

"I may not be certain on everything, but I am with this. Even though I've seen the both of you fight before, I've never once inhaled the scent of hatred from him when he's with you, Genya. So you shouldn't need to feel afraid or insecure. If you have something to say to him, say it, okay?" Tanjiro gave him a heart-warming smile. Genya took all of that in, rethinking about the both of them. Had he really not hated her?

"Hey there's one more rice cracker, you want it?" Tanjiro offered, his face still covered in crumbs. Genya couldn't help but laugh at him -- he looked like a toddler! "What? What is it?" Tanjiro asked. "What?" he asked again. "Nothin nothing, go ahead and have it!"

"We're sharing the bed tonight, right?" Tanjiro asked, watching Genya set it up for the two of them. "Yeah no shit, why you asking?"

"Are you sure that it won't be too uncomfortable? You know, a guy sleeping in your bed with you- Wah!" Genya smacked him on his head and glared at him. "Do you really think I'd give that much of a fuck? As long as I can trust you not doing anything, then you're allowed, dumb shit!"

"Right right..," Tanjiro helped her finish get ready as they both changed their outfits, getting into bed after. Genya rested into his chest as both of their bodies were laying on their sides. "You're cute, you know that," Tanjiro comments, ruffling his hands through her hair. "Fuck off," she responded.
