~STORY 1/BASICALLY THE PILOT~

~ROOM 17~

"Eyes! Eyes!" The Twins, Show and Tell, shouted as they ran into the room. Eyes turned around to face the rambunctious duo.

"Oh, hello, Twins! What's going on?" Eyes asked the two, happy to see their best friends.

"Wanna play tic-tac-toe with us?" Show offered.

"Everybody else is busy, so wanted to ask you!" Tell added.

"Aww, of course we do!" The ethereal group of, well, eyes seemed to smile, despite none of them having a mouth.

"Then come on, let's go!" Show and Tell cheered in unison as Eyes and the Twins made their way to the Library.

~ROOM 50/THE LIBRARY~

Eyes and the Twins burst through the door to the Library, where Figure was trying to keep things in order as usual. The large entity acknowledged Eyes and the Twins' presence and roared a friendly greeting, before noticing the two strange new entities in their Library. They then proceeded to grunt in a way that said, "Who are those two?"

"Oh yeah, you've never met them. Figure, this is Show and Tell. Show and Tell, this is Figure." Eyes introduced the Twins to the Figure.

Speaking of Figure, they nodded and roared happily as a way to say, "Nice to meet you!"

Show tilted his head in curiosity. "What did he say again?"

"I think they said," Tell imitated Figure's roar.

The Twins giggled before Eyes gave Show's question a real answer. "They said, 'nice to meet you.' Figure can't speak English, but they can communicate with us and other entities by making other noises. It's kind of like their 'language.'"

"Oh, so that's why they roared at us." Show nodded in understanding.

"Their 'language' kinda reminds me of a dinosaur." Tell giggled, as the Twins were kind of like small children in that way.

"Haha, yeah, we do see your point there!" Eyes chuckled. "Now, didn't you two want to play tic-tac-toe?"

"Yeah!" The Twins shouted in unison, resulting in Figure covering were their ears would be if they had any.

"Oh, shh, be careful. Figure's blind, but their hearing is really good, so keep your voices down around them, okay?" Eyes instructed the duo.

"Yeah, sorry, we'll be quiet." Show nodded somberly.

"Very quiet." Tell added.

"Now then," Eyes turned to Figure. "Hey Figure, is it alright if we and the Twins play tic-tac-toe in here as long as we're quiet?"

Figure nodded and grunted to say, "Sure, go at it."

"Alright, thanks." Eyes said, trying to be a good example by watching their own volume.

"Yay!" The Twins said in unison, trying to be quiet like they had promised.

Eyes and the Twins sat down a a nearby table with some paper and colored pencils as the Twins took turns going against Eyes in their favorite game of all time.

A few hours passed before Jack popped up in a nearby wardrobe. "Hey kids, Rush wanted me to tell ya we're getting Chinese food delivery for dinner tonight. What do ya guys want?"
