I've been part of the clan for about two weeks now and it's been nice. Eevee and I have worked on getting stronger and creating a closer bond. Today I get to go and see Jubilife Village, although I am a bit nervous.
Suddenly someone taps on my shoulder
"Hm?" I turn and look at them, it's Mai.
"You alright? You haven't said a word since we've left the settlement" She looks at me concerned
Ah! She's right i've been spacing off this whole time!
"Yeah i am sorry I am just curious what the village will be like!" I laugh nervously
"Oh I see, don't worry about it! They are nice people, odd but nice" she smiles
I give a brief nod and approach the gates and two guards look at us.
"Ah Mai nice to see you again, is that the girl who fell from the space time rift" The guard eyes me down and I immediately feel uncomfortable.
"Yes she is, this is (y/n)" she introduces me briefly before speaking again
"Now let us in we have to meet with two of your Survey Corps members" She barges through the gate much to the annoyance of the guard and I follow closely behind her.
Looking around I feel overwhelmed, there are so many people here and huge buildings, bright lights. I feel dizzy and I take a deep breath, as I do Mai says something before running off as I look up I see her heading to two people in odd outfits and I follow Mai feeling even more anxious.
"Hello Mai!" A young boy says before looking at me
"Oh! this must be (y/n)!" He smiles
I give a small nod and wave shyly
"Hello (y/n) I am Rei! and this is Akari" He smiles
Akari gives me a brief nod and smiles "Hello it's nice to finally meet you"
We all sit at a table and eat some potato mochi and some sort of sweet beverage. I watch as Mai and the other two talk away and I sit there in silence, wanting to join in but just simply feeling far too nervous to even open my mouth. I hardly touch my food and drink as they talk the day away and the more I sit there, the more my mind drifts from my partner pokemon Eevee and other various thoughts til it lands on Adaman. I smile to myself thinking about him, of course I enjoy thinking of him. He's done so much for me and he has a true heart of gold. My face feels warm and suddenly I am interrupted by someone touching my shoulder.
"H huh?" I look and see Mai
"Hey (y/n)! What are you thinking about?" She looks at me curiously
"Oh... ummm.... just my past two weeks at the settlement" I smile gently
"Mhmmm" she laughs a bit "You're awfully red, thinking about something embarrassing?" She looks at me curiously
"O oh.. u um... N no?" Would it be embarrassing? I'm not too sure honestly
"Wellll alright then" she laughs "just if you want to talk about it I am here!" She laughs
I nod and after a while Mai finishes her conversation and we leave the village. On our way back I start feeling very unsettled and I hear a faint grumbling sound. I turn to Mai concerned.
