Eevee and I decided to go on a little trip of our own, Adaman proved luckily! But he does want me to meet with the wardens there so they can make sure I am safe. Although I think he is a tad over protective? I laugh nervously remembering our conversation about me going.

"You want to go where?!" Adaman sounds shocked, "Umm... I wanted to see the Cobalt Coastlands!" I rub my (h/c) hair nervously. His brown eyes are filled with shock and worry, he looks at me like I am absolutely insane.
"I... I.. can't allow it!!" He says harshly. I look down at the ground disappointed "b but.." I frown and let out a defeated sigh before I hear someone barge in.
"Adaman let her go! She will be fine, she'll have Eevee to accompany her! So don't treat her like a helpless child! I mean she could always leave without your permission and without you realizing and she could get into even more danger, Ring any bells Adaman"
my (e/c) eyes fill with shock at the way Mai just barged right on in and basically scolded him!
Adaman opens his mouth but no words come out due to his very obvious shock
"Choose your next words wisely Mr.Clan leader" She smirks teasingly
He likes out a sigh before speaking "Fine... you may go.... but just.... be careful.." he says hesitantly
I feel a great feeling of relief and I run up and hug him "Thankk youu!!" I smile brightly
He seems to be embarrassed so I stop hugging him and look up at him "Y..you're welcome- W.. when you get there go find Iscan and Palina just to let them know you're there, alright?" He looks at me gently and I smile "Don't worry I will, and I won't let you down! I promise!"
He smiles and nods "Alright remember be careful"
I nod and wave him good bye before leaving

I sigh a bit disappointed to see her go and feeling a tad anxious
Mai taps my shoulder before smiling "You need to relax a little, she can take care of herself and I am sure of that. Remember she isn't a child."
"Someone should of told you that when I first became leader-" I smirk a bit
She gasps "Hey! That was different! I basically raised you!" she huffs
I shake my head slightly "Mhm- But in a way, I am kind of raising (y/n) aren't I? Since well she was clueless and lost when we first found her and it took her a while before she got use to even doing basic things...."
Mai pats me again "She isn't a child but I get what you're saying, But realize holding her back won't help her and just make her more fearful of this world and more unprepared"
I nod, I know she's right but for some reason I just feel hesitant to let her go alone
"It will take time for you to get comfortable with it, but once you see how she grows i'm sure you won't regret it" She smiles at me
She's someone who I consider as my older sister even though we aren't blood related, I really love and appreciate her as if she was blood related.
