(Arya)

These past couple of days have been so stressful. My mom keeps calling me about wedding plans, Leo hasn't called or texted in forever and I have to live with an asshole who doesn't even acknowledge me. I was sitting at the island in the kitchen on my laptop looking at wedding decor. I sipped on a cup of coffee I warmed in the microwave from earlier. Adrian came down the stairs with a towel wrapped around his waist. I rolled my eyes and tried to keep my attention on my laptop. I heard him rumbling through the cabinets and I glanced over my my laptop. He pulled out a frying pan and got three eggs out of the fridge. The smell of scrambled eggs filled the kitchen and my stomach started to growl. I think my stomach was a little too loud because Adrian turned to look at me and smirked. "Hungry?" I nodded.

He finished the eggs and put a few strips of bacon in the pan. "Pancakes?" He had asked after pulling out pancake mix from the pantry. "Yes please." I said. Why is he being nice to me? Before I could ask I heard footsteps on the stairs and I turned my head to see a woman coming down the stairs in one of Adrian's shirts. And that right there answers my question. He got laid last night and was being nice to me. I guess she gave him good sex. "Good morning baby." She said before kissing him. Well this is awkward. "Breakfast smells good." I guess she didn't care that I was there. He had all of her attention. It didn't take her long to notice me though because my mother started calling and my phone rang loudly in the kitchen. "Who are you?" She said confused. Uh well this is even more awkward. "I'm sorry but I have to take this." I got up from the stool and went into the guest bedroom closing the door.

"Arya are you looking for wedding dresses like I told you?" I sighed. "Yes." I replied dryly. "I found this really cute floral dress for three thousands dollars. I'll send you a picture." My phone buzzed and my mother had sent me a picture of a white lace V-neck, long/see through sleeves wedding dress. And honestly it was really pretty, I just hate the fact that I'm getting married to someone I don't like. While on the phone with my mother I could hear Adrian and the woman arguing. My mother was still rambling on about what she had found what would be perfect for the wedding. I put my ear to the door and listened. Apparently the woman was mad because she figured out I lived here and that I was his fiancé. Adrian was telling her to calm down and that he didn't even like me and that it was forced. I took my ear off the door and told my mother that I had to go. "Okay but don't forget to purchase your dress I sent you." "Alright mama." I said ending the call.

I made way back to the kitchen and noticed that the woman had disappeared. Adrian was still in his towel, cooking breakfast. "Where'd she go?" I asked. "Why?" He replied in a mean tone. Ah there's the Adrian I know. I shrugged and got back on the stool I was sitting in. "She left." He said. "I guess she didn't take the whole fiancé situation too well." I say smiling to myself. He had finished making breakfast and had sat everything in front of me. "Enjoy." He said after fixing his plate and heading upstairs. Adrian was actually really good at cooking. I was a little jealous that his scrambled eggs tasted better than mine. I was washing my dishes when he came downstairs and put his plate in the sink. Before I could complain he grabbed the sponge from me and nudged me out of the way. An 'excuse me' could have been nice but whatever. We didn't say anything to each other for the rest of the day. Adrian was gone most of the time anyway.

My wedding was in a month and my mother had me stressing over decorations. I found myself standing in front of a shop my mother own that sold decorations for all kinds of occasions. She had dragged me along with her. She told me that I needed to get out more and that my wedding was very important. "You know it would have been better if you and Adrian shopped together." I huffed and folded my arms. I didn't want to hear anything about Adrian. I hate him. "I'd rather not be doing this at all." My mother gently slapped me on the butt and told me to stop complaining. My mother gasped and ran to one of the tables in the store. "Oh I forgot I had these decorations. Your father and I used these colors in our wedding." It was a gray, white and silver balloon garland kit. There was a cake stand, extra balloons and a beautiful sign where you could customize your own words onto it. We shopped for a little longer before deciding on what we saw earlier.
