I had got a text from Arya while I was in one of my best known strip clubs. *Hey it's me, Arya. There is someone in the house and I don't think it's my father.* I quickly pushed the two women that were grinding on me off and got up. I sped walk to my car and quickly drove to her house. When I got there I kicked the door down and went looking for Arya. She was nowhere to be found and the house was a wreck like someone had broken in. That's when I realized Arya was missing. I dialed her number and tried calling her a few times but it kept going to voicemail. Damnit. I can wait to get my hands on whoever took her. I was praying and hoping I would find her alive, she means everything to me. I can't stand to lose her. She's the only one that has brought me happiness since my mom passed. I have to find her fast.

I started calling people left and right to be on the look out for her. I gave everyone a very detailed description of her because I needed them to know exactly what she looked like and so they wouldn't mistake anyone else for her. While the search for Arya was issued I found out that Oscar had turned himself in to the Dirty Diamonds and ended up killing himself before they could get to him. Fuck, why did he do that? I was so mad at him but there was nothing I could do, he was gone now. Oscar was one of my best men and I couldn't afford losing him but some things happen for a good reason.

Two weeks went by and I had got some good news. "Boss! We found her." Anthony came bursting through my office. I quickly hung up my business call and got to my feet. Arya was more important than my business call right now. "Where, where is she?" "Follow me." Anthony lead me to a car parked outside my house and I climbed in. We drove for what felt like an hour when we finally arrived at what looked like an abandoned mansion. I quickly got out and rushed to the front door. "Where is she?" I had walked in the house and a group of men were standing in the living room. "She's down there sir." They pointed to what looked like a basement. I walked down the stairs slowly and stopped when I saw two people lying at the foot of the stairs, they had been shot dead. I continued down the stairs and froze when I saw her lying on the floor shivering. I stood there for a few minutes when she said my name. "Leo." I rushed to her and held her. She started crying into my chest and I couldn't help but feel sorry.

I hate myself for not being able to protect her like I should have. I hated seeing her cry, it broke my heart. For now on I was always going to protect her. I picked her up and carried her up the stairs to the car. She was clinging to me and had her head buried into my chest. Everyone had made a path for us as we walked to the car. She stayed in my lap the whole car ride and I made sure to give her small kisses on the forehead to reassure her that I was there with her.

I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling trying to clear my head. My phone buzzed and I had got a text from Leo. He was checking on me, in fact he checked on me every day after what happened. I responded to him and got up to take a bath. I soaked my body in the warm water and sipped some wine. My head was still running with intrusive thoughts from two months ago. Amber and Mateo were dead. I didn't quite know how to feel though. Yes I was angry at them for doing what they had did but I don't necessarily think they needed to die for it. Maybe a little torture would have did the trick. I guess Leo's people thought otherwise.

My parents had knew about what happened and they pretended to care like they always did. After two months went by they went back to pretending like nothing happened. I hated myself for everything that happened. I always thought it was my fault. I got cheated on because I wasn't good enough, I was shot at a bar, my parents secretly hate me and then I was kidnapped by my ex and ex best friend because they wanted revenge. I should have been the one getting revenge, because that little altercation that happened at the club should have been more than just a fight.
