Sam Golbach and Colby Brock were driving up the hill towards an abandoned two-story mansion. Colby got out the camera and began filming them. He then set up the camera for their intro. "Hey! What's up, guys? It's Sam and Colby. Today, we will be exploring this haunted and abandoned mansion in the middle of nowhere." Sam said. "We will be getting into the history of this place pretty soon but first get that merch!" Colby said as he and Sam showed off their clothes. They walked through the gate and locked it behind them. They walked up the steps and into the huge mansion. They walked in and explored the large ballroom. "The architecture of this mansion is a gothic, design that combines prominence with neatness and beauty. All the exterior walls of the buildings are of stone but the interior and partition walls are of brick. The first story of the building is divided into five rooms. A medium-sized kitchen, a living room, the winter garden or conservatory accommodates about 40 different herbs and plants, a large dining/ballroom, and a hallway with 12 bedrooms for the servants. On the second story were the drawing room, the master wing, the main office, the recreation room, and fourteen guest bedrooms. Apparently, there was a crazy serial killer who lived here and this man supposedly comes at visitors that come here with an axe." Sam explained to their viewers. There was a large thud coming from upstairs. Colby and Sam looked at one another before they stood up and grabbed the camera. "Yo, Sam, did you hear that?" Colby whispered over to his best friend. Sam nodded as he stood rigid, listening intently for that weird sound he'd just heard. 'What the fuck was that?!' They both thought at the same time. To them, it sounded like a pair of feet shuffling in the hallway upstairs. Colby instinctively turned off his flashlight. The shuffling sounded closer as they quietly collected their belongings. He peered down the hall and saw a tall man with black hair and dark eyes wielding an axe. Sam then whipped his head back around and turn to Colby. "Run." Sam said as he grabbed his bag. Tucking the camera under his arm, they both sprinted down hallways and stairs, hearing a roar behind him. Leaping down the last four of the flight, they ran like hell towards the exit. Sam was right behind him, yelling about getting out, and the window they'd crawled through was right there. Another couple feet, and then he was pushing open a makeshift hatch that upon second glance definitely looked way too convenient, diving into it feet first into it, making space for Sam. Sam jumped in beside him and closed the hatch above them. There wasn't much space in the hole so Sam was practically on top of his best friend but he honestly didn't mind it. They heard a loud crash, a woman's scream, and a thud. Sam was about to scream when Colby pulled him to his chest and covered Sam's mouth. "Sam, it's okay. I'm here." Colby whispered to his terrified best friend. The man rushed past the bunker they were in. In the instant he passed by, Colby thought he saw the glint of a pocket knife and a smear of red. 'Oh my god. Oh my god.' Colby thought to himself as he looked over at his best friend. "Oh, my god..." Sam thought aloud as Colby paced around for a bit. Sam pulled Colby down and looked at him. "Colby, how the hell are we going to get out of here?" Sam asked as he looked at him. "It's going to be okay, Sam. I promise." Colby said as he looked out the hatch and saw that the guy chasing them was completely gone. "It's clear." Colby said as he nervously opened the hatch. He shone a flashlight around but found nothing. Sam then hopped out and they ran back and got into their car. Colby placed the camera onto the dashboard facing them as they locked the doors and started to drive away before addressing their current situation. "We were just chased out of there by a literal killer with an axe, I think he might have actually killed someone." Sam said as he looked at Colby. "Yeah, we need to call the police and report this." Colby said as he got out his phone. "Definitely, you call. I'm driving." Sam said as Colby got out his phone and called the local police. "Hello, I would like to report a crime. We were at this abandoned mansion on Pine Street. There was a tall man with black hair and dark eyes, he had an axe who chased us out. We hid in an underground hole but we could still see out. We heard a woman scream and saw him minutes later with a bloody pocket knife. I think that you should get someone here immediately." Colby said. "We will get someone there as soon as we can. Thank you for the information." The officer on the phone said before hanging up. It was then that Colby noticed that the camera was still on. "Sam, we just caught all of that on camera." Colby said as he grabbed the camera. "What? I thought you turned it off." Sam exclaimed. "I thought so too." Colby said as he saved the recording and turned off the camera. "That was insane, Colby. Usually, we are so careful that stuff like that never happens." Sam said as he looked at his best friend. "Yeah, I can't wait until we get back home." Colby said as he packed away their camera and their other equipment as Sam drove them to the Greater Binghamton Airport. The small airport was full of people, people who are rushing to and from gates because they don't know how to manage time. Sam, Justin, and Colby placed their stuff onto the security conveyor belt. It went through without an issue. Each of them walked through the metal detector without an issue. They went over to Gate 12 and got some snacks from the small gift shop. Colby realized it was 11:05 and they were going to start boarding soon. He gathered his friends and they began boarding them and the other passengers. They got onto the plane and sat beside each other. They got comfortable and put on their seatbelts, which began their eight-hour and thirty-minute flight back home to Los Angeles. Colby, Sam, and Justin spent most of the flight sleeping before waking up halfway through and getting food from the flight attendants. They edited their videos for their combined channel which took about two hours. They experienced a small bit of turbulence before they finally landed at LAX. Sam, Justin, and Colby collected their belongings before ordering an uber home. Once they got back, they showered and changed their clothes before unpacking and settling back into their home. They put their dirty clothes into the washer and started it. Then they collapsed into their beds and fell asleep.
