Chris slept soundly in my bed, the deep red velvet sheets were pulled up to his waist, and from there his bare chest was visible.
I couldn't stop from staring in pure admiration, he looked spectacular. I smiled softly and rested my head on his chest, thinking about the first time I ever met him.
I never thought that I would've fallen in love with a demon, the king of all demons at that. But if i hadn't then I would never have unlocked my true potential, not only did I have an angel inside of me, I also had a demon.
Chris gumbled softly in his sleep and kissed my head softly. A small smile grew across my face breifly before he spoke in a deep morning voice. "Good morning, my lover. He murmured softly. I lifted my head and gazed into his eyes.
"Good morning my love." I said softly, kissing his lips and smilling widely. He chuckled and pulled me down, holding me tightly against his chest. "I love you, Ricky. My angel, My demon."
"I love you too Chris, my everything." I mumbled into his chest, relaxing in his tight embrace. He laughed softly as he held me.
A few hours went by before Ryan and Vinny came bursting in, panting and coated in a thin layer of sweat. "What is it?" Chris said, tightening his grasp on me.
"Archangels..They're declaring war on you b-because of Ricky, unless you agree to let him master the powers of light and purity to keep the balance in tact." Ryan said quickly.
I gently moved Chris' arms and stood up, grateful that I'd gotten dressed shortly before they came in. "I'll do it, if a war can be avoided then so be it, there's no need for senseless fighting." I said softly, ignoring Chris' protests.
I kissed him softly. "I'll be okay, you don't need to worry about me. After all, I am going to be the king as well, and you know I'll be capable of defending myself baby." I whispered softly. Chris stared at me with sad, worried eyes.
"I'm not going to stop you, especially if this is what you want. But if anything happens to you, anything at all, then I swear I will kill every single bastard Angel to keep you safe." I smiled and kissed him passionately.
"I'll come back as often as possible, hopefully I'll only go to, well, wherever the hell they're training me, during the day." Ryan and Vinny walked out, and I sighed as Ashley walked in.
Her hair was in curls, bouncing on her shoulders with every determined step she took. "You can't let him go to the Archangels. They wouldn't just leave him alone, they want to kill him, Chris!" The urgency in her voice made Chris bolt up.
Judging by how comfortable he seemed being naked around Ashley, I assumed that they must've hooked up before he met me, though I could be wrong. "Do you know this for definite?" He asked coldly, quickly dressing in a suit.
"Yeah, I do. They're not happy with the idea of someone being half demon and half angel, you can't let him go!" The urgency in her voice made me stare at her in confusion and mild anger.
"I'm right here, you know! And I can fucking take care of myself!" I snapped, walking quickly out of the room. Vinny and Ryan both nodded at me and started walking next to me, leading me to an empty space nearby my home.
There, Archangel Michael was stood there, his blonde hair scruffy, looking impatient. "Finally." He grunted. There was another two archangels stood next to him, one had shoulder length black hair and hazel eyes, the other had short brown hair.
"I'm Gerard, this is Frank. We have been instructed to help you achieve your full potential and help you master the powers of the light and purity." I stared at them in confusion before sighing.
"I guess we should get started then, right?" They all looked at me and nodded.
(Chris' POV)
Ricky had been gone for two weeks.
Two. Fucking. Weeks.
"Chris, relax, he'll be back soon, he called you last night so you know he's okay." Ashley said softly, smiling at me softly. I didn't smile back, I couldn't. I just wanted Ricky here with me and I'd do anything to get what I wanted.
"But it's been two weeks, Ashley. I miss him, more than you'll ever realize." Ashley looked at me and smiled sympathetically, before sighing. "I know, I miss him too. But he's doing this to prevent a huge war, it's pretty admirable. Besides, he told us both he can look after himself, we need to trust him. Even if I don't agree with it."
"Yeah, you're not wrong, but I'd just gotten him back and he's already gone. I do trust him, its the Archangels I don't trust." She nodded and went to reply but the door flew open. I stared in shock, stood there was my Ricky. My angel. His eyes were shimmering, one blue and one red.
"I'm back." He said softly gliding over to me, he looked so graceful.
