Family Reunion

{Raiden's POV}
Holy shit....This guy is my father!?!?!? 

Raiden:" Wait, y-y-y-y-you are my father?!?! You are Dante!?!" 

The man that was claiming to be my father let go of me and nodded his head while tearing up.

Dante:" Yes Raiden, I am your father your real father." 

I was shocked that I just met my father when I just wanted to see if I could get a job here.

Raiden:" Wait if you're my father then where's my mother?! Why did you leave me with those freaks? Who is Sparda?" 

My father seemed a little overwhelmed but nonetheless he gently picked me up and placed me on the desk he was on. 

Dante:" I owe you some explanations and I know you have more questions, so get comfortable and if your hungry have some pizza. This is gonna take a while." 

I looked to see that he had pepperoni pizza on the desk so I grabbed a slice and took a bite. BEST DAMN PIZZA EVER!!! My father, oh god it's weird to say that now, sat down on a chair before taking a deep breath. 

Dante:" Well for your first question buddy your mother is out killing some demons and angels right now but knowing her, she'll be back very soon. Your next question, me and her left you with the family we found because we felt that we were unfit to be parents if we kept you but I do want you to know, doing that wasn't easy for us to do since we missed a decade of your life. For your last one, it might not be easy for you to believe me but Sparda is my father, your grandfather and the reason that humanity and the Faunus race are still around today." 

He's the reason they're still around? What does that mean? Was he a general or something? 

Raiden:" What does that mean? I heard his name when I was five but I could never find anything about him." 

Dante:" Sparda is or was a demon who was Hell's greatest swordsman and one of the most powerful demons Hell had but when the Demon Realm tried to conquer Remnant, he took three of his legendary swords and destroyed the army while also sealing the portal, permanently severing the connection the two worlds had thus saving this world."

 I was at a loss for words. My grandfather was a demon that saved Remnant by killing a whole demon army of his own kind and on his own while coming out the winner!?!?!? Holy fucking shit that is fucking insane!!!! But now that I think about it that would make sense on why the first demon I fought and killed said that she could smell the treachery on me and seemed so angry.

Raiden:" My grandfather was a hero?" 

Dante:" Yeah buddy, he was and after he finished doing that he eventually met my mother, your grandmother, and had me and your uncle then me and my wife had you." 

Raiden:" Wait I have a uncle?!"

 Dante:" Yeah kiddo, but he's a bit rough around the edges but still a good guy at heart." 

Well guess I should ask him the question that has bothered me for so long and hope for the best.

Raiden:" Dad.... do you.... hate me?" 

Dad seemed shocked by my question so I asked with more sense. 

Raiden:" I mean, was I too much of a weakling for you and mom to consider me your son? Is that what you meant by being unfit to be my parents? Because I was unfit to be your son?"
