"Where are we?" Hannah walked into the centre of the circle of huts and spun around in curiosity. No one knew where they were. Eliza wasn't sure if there were still people living in them.

"We are in a village I think, but where is everybody?" Joseph said. He ran into a few huts and looked around. "I don't see anything! There're all empty!" He shouted from the sixth hut.

"Check some more, just in case!" Eliza shouted back. As Joseph checked the huts, she inspected the campfire in the middle of the village. All there was, were some sticks and ash with a border of stones. She reached her hand out and moved her finger around in the ash...it was warm. "This fire's recently been lit. There must be people around here."

A few moments as she finished her sentence, a load cry came from inside the ninth hut. Eliza and hannah ran inside to find Joseph with a long, shiny piece of metal around his throat held by a tall, slender man with short, black, greasy hair. The expression on the man's face was not welcoming.

"JOSEPH!"

"Stop!" Joseph said as the price of metal almost dug into his skin. "They will kill us!" A tear ran down his face. Eliza didn't know what to do. But then the mysterious man turned to look at hannah.

"You...killed...Lexa!" The man wasn't happy. But it couldn't have been Hannah, she and Joseph were with her last night. "Now you must die!" He threw Joseph to the ground and stumbled towards Hannah.

Eliza ran in front of Hannah, blocking her from the man. "You won't kill her unless you kill me too." She didn't think that through. But she would do anything for her best friend/cousin. She faced Hannah. "Did you really kill Lexa?" Her voice was soft.

Hannah looked down and gazed at the wooden floor underneath them. "I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry." She was crying. She couldn't forgive herself for what she did. Eliza stared at her until their eyes met. "Octavia told me about what happened years ago about what Clarke and Lexa did. I know it was years ago, but it was wrong. And your mother should've died too!" Hannah wasn't crying any more, she was angry, frustrated. How could she have even thought of killing Eliza's mother.

"How dare you speak about my mother that way! Were you planning on killer her too?" Eliza was shouting at Hannah. She forgot that there were other people there, but how could Hannah do such a thing?
