They were being dragged across the ground whilst their hands were tied up with a thick rope. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't escape.
"Where are we going?!" Eliza yelled, expecting an answer. The ground was rough and hard, which caused bruises all over her body. Nobody answered, they just kept walking forward as Eliza and Joseph trailed behind them being yanked every now and then. Eliza turned to face Joseph. She could see fear and sadness in his eyes. What was going on? Where were they going? Eliza demanded answers, but she knew that she wouldn't get any.
"Eliza...are you...okay?" Joseph didn't have the energy to speak, or even keep his eyes open. They were both very tired. It was like the world around them turned into one big blur.
Moments later, screams and shouts came from in the distance. A dim glow of yellow and orange lightened up the surroundings so that Eliza's eyes could glance at the wooden objects that situated in what looked like a camp. Was it the grounders camp? "Where are we?" Eliza spoke with very little confidence. Her eyes examined the area to see if she new the surroundings, but it was hopeless in the dark.
"We are at the camp." One of the men who dragged them there spoke up. They must have been at the grounders camp.
