hello, author here!

honest to god it's felt like decades since i wrote this book and discontinued it. i returned to this wattpad account after what felt like a lifetime and did not expect the eight hundred notifications.

this fic won't ever be completed, as i left the kpop community ages ago, but i do thank you all for supporting my first ever(??) genuine fanfiction attempt! as i skim through it i realize the plot was a mess and a half, but i still think on it fondly.

i've grown, matured and improved my writing by a landslide. i still write, mainly oneshots on ao3, but this fic was certainly a learning step, and looking back on it is oddly nostalgic. i expected to be embarrassed but i'm proud of what i did and what i'm doing.

i would LOVE to give this fic the conclusion it deserves, but the reason i stick to oneshots on ao3 is specifically because of the fact that dedicating myself to one storyline with multiple chapters burns me out QUICK. i will be sticking to that writing style for the near future, and so continuing this is definitely not on my agenda.

however, for the people that enjoyed this and want more and for the few people that still check up on this fic, i did pre-write the epilogue/last chapter ages ago because endings are the most fun parts to write.

there will be a LARGE gap in between the previous chapter and the one i will be posting following this update, so don't be too taken aback. just soak in the diabetes-inducing fluff i conjured up months ago.

the reason i'm doing this after months (surprisingly not years) of being mia is that i can see how people genuinely enjoyed this small little project i created in my wee years of writing and i want to give some sort of closure to the story i've built up. the view-count and attention this has received is astonishing for my earlier works, and i thank every one of you. every word of encouragement brought me to where i am today.

again, as i haphazardly conclude this fanfiction, i still want to thank everyone that read, voted, enjoyed or just gave it a chance. this last chapter was written with your guys' content and happiness in mind. do forgive me for giving up on this fanfiction, but know that it as well as you all have helped me grow and change for the better.
