soobin had noticed yeonjun had fallen asleep during the time soobin was playing with his hands.

he sighed. "he must have not gotten enough sleep last night."

soobin got up, walking to the room and grabbing a blanket and a pillow.

coming back to the couch, soobin threw the blanket on the couch and placed the pillow on yeonjun's left.

he slowly moved yeonjun's head to the pillow, pushing his legs up on the couch.

yeonjun moved a little unconsciously, getting comfortable.

soobin placed the blanket over the sleeping boy, tucking him in before kissing his forehead.

he decided to make some hot chocolate for himself, he was craving chocolate at the moment.

as he started to make the mixture, he heard a noise from behind him.

he turned around, hearing the noise again.

it sounded like... keys?

he quickly rushed to the door and looked through the peephole.

he saw two adults, a woman and a man at the door, conversing with each other.

their faces looked very familiar to him.

he tried to think of where he saw those faces before.

and then it hit him.

he turned around to yeonjun sleeping and then back at the peephole.

"those must be his parents!" soobin said to himself, panicking.

if they find out that he's here this early in the morning and they haven't gone to school it'd look really bad. soobin started to frantically search for something to temporarily block the door.

he found a broom that yeonjun used to clean with a lot.

he shoved it in between the door and the door handle, before quickly turning to yeonjun.

he could hear the couple outside trying to get the door open.

he picked yeonjun up and held him in his arms, searching for a place to hide.

he figured they wouldn't randomly check yeonjun's closet, so he decided to hide there.

which was kind of ironic.

he swiftly knocked down the broom so they wouldn't be locked out.

the door creaked open just when the door to yeonjun's bedroom shut.

soobin opened the closet open quietly, and it was spacious enough for two people to squeeze in thankfully.

it'd still be very cramped though.

soobin stepped in, trying to protect yeonjun's and his own head from hitting anything.

sitting in a kneeling position, he managed to make yeonjun's head rest against the wall, somehow still asleep.

there wasn't enough space for their legs, their legs intertwined with each other as they both rested on opposite sides of the closet.

yeonjun's parents had forgotten an important document at home and were immediately sent back to retrieve it. they wanted to come when yeonjun was at school, so he wouldn't know.

soobin waited until he heard the click of a door, but no matter how much he waited, he didn't hear them leave.

he noticed yeonjun's eyes fluttering open.
