Chapter 3 ~ No way ~

"Y/n I can't believe this, THE Aomine Daiki was the random guy you grabbed at the convenience store" Mai says in utter shock.

"Yessss" I groan as I dig my head in my arms.

We were at at the table for lunch, and Mai still coudnlt get her head around the whole thing.

Neither could I to be honest, who would have thought that my luck would be so bad that I would actually grab someone known and loved. 

"Oh wow y/n this is great!! You've just claimed one of the most sought after guys in the school as your boyfriend!!" She exclaims as she claps her hands in excitement.

"No Mai, he was my boyfriend for only two minutes and it wasn't even real!" I reply as I look up and face her.

"And let's not forget how rude he was to me" I say as I hug my chest.

"Ahhh" she says as she gives me a blank stare.

"You agree too huh" I say as I look defeated.

"But come on y/n, forget that. Just think about how this could change things. You could actually get a boyfriend" she tries to encourage me.

"Mai, I think he's more into you, we'll your boobs than he is in me" I say as I sigh and I rest my head on my hand.

"Y/nnnnn stop drawing out the negatives I'm sure things could work out, imagine the background character dating the main character. How cool would that be" she envisions.

"I'm guessing I'm the background character then, huh" I say monotonously.

"You. Know that's not what I mean, it's just let's be honest we're not really popular are we, so we're automatically the background characters" she says trying to console me as she sips her drink.

"Ahhhh whatever Mai I'm not in the mood right now" I let out a frustrated groan as I massage the side of my head.

She stays silent for a while.

"Oh I know what will cheer you up" she says in a creepy suggestive way.

"Whatttt" I complain even more.

"Let's hit the bookstore on the way back, I'll buy you a book that heavy on smut" she grins widely.

My head suddenly lifts up.

"Really?! Yess let's do that please" I agree as I stretch my arms out to grab her hands.

We both squeal as we carry in chatting and finish out lunch.

Yes this is what me and Mai often do, we are outcasts and we both love smut, great combination right.

We also don't really get along with the sports girls, which is probably the main reason I try and avoid the gym area.

Anyway we finished out lunch, then headed to our last classes, excited for the end of the day.

*After school*

"Mai, look at this one" I say as I pull out a book and show her the blurb.

As she reads the blurb her expressions change she then looks at me gleaming.

"Oooo this one's amazing, I'm all for spicy scenes" she happily says.

"Right, wait I'm just going to look around here to see if there might be another one I like" I say as I walk down the book isle and off to the other side.

As I'm walking I see the change from spicy books to adult magazines, ew.

Well I can't say I'm any better to be honest, guess I'm a mild perv but oh well.

All that flashed into my mind was Aomine.

Ah gosh I can't even get peace here, I'm actually going to be haunted for the rest of my life.

I thought as I looked down and felt slight despair.

I then felt someone barge into me, they didn't stop to apologise unseats just carried on walking.

"Excuse you" I say with a little attitude in my tone.

I look up to see the back of the person they were tall and had blue hair.

"Ah my ba-" the person stops mid sentence as they turned around.

Our eyes met and both went wide.

"YOU?!?" We both yell in unison.

"Are you a crazy fan or something?" He says with irritation in his tone.

"Me?" I scoff and grab my hips.

"You, are the stalker. How can you follow me into my favourite bookstore" I emphasise the you and point at him also irritated.

"Your favourite bookstore? This place sells my favourite magazines" he scoffs and gives me an irritated stare.

I then see Mai coming from behind him, she sees the situation and stops in her tracks, giving a suggestive look.

She slowly starts to back away.

I give her a 'help me look' as she carry's on walking away.

Just great.

Well I'm not sticking around any longer.

I decide to just walk away, not needing to reply.

But he grabs my arm and pulls me back.

"Hey I'm talking to you." He says as I can hear his voice growl.

"Ughhhhhhhhhh" I groan really loudly.

He looks at me in disgust.

"Just leave me aloneeeeeee" I complain as I throw a mini tantrum.

He doesn't reply and instead stares at me.

I stop after a few seconds realising it's silent.

So I just stare at him back.

"You not much of a looker are you" he then randomly drops.

"Pardon?" I say confused.

"You have no chest, barely average looks and a horrible attitude. Your not helping yourself out" he plainly states in his normal deep voice.

"H-huh" I say as I stood there absolutely gob smacked at his straight up rudeness.

"Well, I don't know who you are to judge but your personality is shit and your not that attractive yourself. So don't worry the feeling is mutual" I hissed as I replied to his nasty comments.

I did lie a bit, he is good looking. But with a personality like that he's not egging anywhere.

Not with me anyway.

"And she swears" he says 'surprised' as he rolls his eyes.

"Whatever, thanks for ruining my day even more" I mumble and walk away to find Mai.

I don't even want to hear what he has to say, I hate that man.

I guess I just don't get along with athletes, amazing.
