"Y/n really really really really REALLY bad news" I hear Mai yell as she runs up to me grabbing my shoulders as he shakes me.
"What's wrong?" I asked panicked.
"Hanae is looking for you and she is beyond pissed" Mai explains as she genuinely looks worried.
"Ahhhh how did I know this would happen" I thought as I bit my lip.
There's no way I can take this girl on. She's not actually trying to beat me to a pulp over a guy right?
A FRICKING GUY???
I feel my heart beat speed up a little. Honestly this is the last thing I wanted, but like yay me I guess :p
My thoughts were all over the place whilst I panicked.
"It's okay y/n I'm not leaving you" Mai firmly says as she looks at me.
"No it's fine I don't want to drag you into this, it was expected I guess. Hopefully she leaves it at verbal abuse." I sigh as I pray for the best.
"Y/n you whore!" Hear I loud voice down the corridor.
Jeez this girl actually needs to get a life. I thought as I internally rolled my eyes.
I could see everyone in the hallway crowding to form a circle trying to get a good view.
This is why I prefer to stay inside and talk to literally one person. How can people actually find stuff like this entertaining. It's actually so morally low.
"I can't fucking believe you" she yells as she grabs my collar straight away.
I just stood there silently not replying to her, that must have pissed her off even more. Because she started screaming in my face.
"Don't just stand there say something you bitch" she says practically spitting as she spoke.
What does she want to say? We're dating each other because we like each other ? I mean he said I could say whatever but it feels wrong coming out of my mouth.
Plus I'm pretty sure that's the last thing she wants to hear right now.
"Say something you dumb grinch looking whore" she angrily shouted as she swung for my face.
I close my eyes waiting for an impact, when I don't feel anything. I slowly reopen my eyes, only to see a large muscly arm in front of my face.
I look up and see Aomine standing over me I was taken aback.
I then looked in front to see that he had caught Hanae's punch.
"I'd appreciate it if you kept your distance from my girlfriend" he warned in his normal toned voice.
She quickly moved her hand away and looked at him with a mix of shock and embarrassment.
Everyone stood there in shock.
This will definitely be the next topic that the school will talk about. I internally facepalmed.
The crowd slowly start to disperse and Hanae disappears along with it.
I could tell Aomine sticking up for me pissed her off even more. But what can I do about it.
"Come with me y/n" he briefly says as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with him.
Mai stood there fangirling as a few others looked shocked.
We reached an empty corridor and Aomine finally let go.
"What the hell was that?" He asked annoyed
"Pft," I scoff and roll my eyes.
"I don't understand why your so angry, you should keep your fan girls in check" I reply harshly.
"Learn how to defend yourself I shouldn't have to step in for you" he brutally said.
"Please, I didn't ask you to save me. Honestly just leave me alone right now" I say goring more and more annoyed by the second.
I mean first his biggest fan girl comes and makes a scene and now this guy is trying ti blame it on me.
He stood there quietly not saying anything.
"Why did you help me anyway, your the one who suggested we don't talk to each other at school" I question more calmly.
"I'd do that for anyone" he replied as he avoided eye contact.
"Oh okay" I reply not pushing it further.
We both then walk away going to our classes.
~After school~
Me and Mai walk out of our classroom whilst chatting and linking arms.
During class I had a lot of people talk to me, which we new.
Some congratulating me whilst others were in shock asking me how it happened.
I just told them we bumped into each other outside of school and things developed from there. I mean only half of what I said was true but meh.
"I'm still waiting you know" I said to Mai as we put our things in out locker.
"For what?" She asked looking confused.
"For the text, so you can meet kise" I replied as I locked my locker.
"Ahhhhhh y/nnnnnn your so sweeettttt" she replies as she jumps on me and hugs me tightly.
"Yeah yeah I know" I laugh as we both walk out the school gate.
