Y/n POV

I walked into school, going straight to my locker while trying my best to ignore the fan girls and fan boys. Once I got to my locker and opened it, a bunch of love letters fell out. Per usual..

If you couldn't tell, I'm the school flirt.

I flirt with basically everyone, girls and boys. No one is safe from my "charm". It's not even charm, I'm just a nice person who makes flirty comments. So.. yeah.

Anyways, I use my foot to push the letters out the way.. until one caught my eye. It was in a pink envelope that had a few heart stickers and some drawn on it. It had the initials "F.B/F.S" (Finney Blake/Finney Shaw since idfk his correct last name 😭)

I picked it up and looked around only to see a boy peeking from behind his locker door. I grab my english book and put it in my bag before closing my locker and walking towards him. I saw him quickly hide behind his door, trying to act like he was getting something.

I playfully knocked on his locker door, he moved in and peeked around it before quickly closing his locker nervously. "Hi Finney." I say holding the letter. "Oh! H-hi Y/n." He said nervously. I smiled lightly at his cute and flustered demeanor.

"So, I got your letter. Haven't read it yet, but I got it. Could I have a spoiler of what I'm gonna read or is it that special you can't tell me?" I asked raising a brow and chuckling. Finney's face flushed a bright red as he stuttered trying to answer, "W-well.. I-I guess it's just t-that special..?" He said in an almost questioning tone.

I giggled before putting my hand on his shoulder. "I'll see you at lunch Finney, have fun in class" I said before walking to class.

Finney's POV

'Y/n L/n..my CRUSH.. JUST TOUCHED MY SHOULDER AND IS GONNA READ MY LOVE LETTER.' I thought to myself as I felt my face heat up more. Suddenly the bell rang and I quickly grabbed my bag and ran to class.

Still Finney's POV

I sat at the lunch table with my friends, Vance, Billy, Griffin, Robin, Bruce, Donna, and my little sister Gwen. Suddenly someone sat down next to me, when I turned to look at them I saw the one and only Y/n L/n.

I blushed hard. When they said 'see you at lunch' I didn't think they'd sit with me!! "Hey Finney" they said while smiling. I looked at them and did a small wave. Everyone except Y/n (and myself) looked at me shocked, like they just saw a leprechaun riding a unicorn chasing a ghost. I looked back at them only to be caught by surprise when Y/n laid their head on my shoulder.

I blushed harder, trying not to look at them. "I didn't get to read your letter yet.. but now seems like a good time." They said chuckling before pulling out my letter and carefully opening it.

Vance, Robin, and everyone else were whispering about it. Vance ended up passing me a note while Y/n wasn't looking that said, 'how the hell did you get THE Y/n L/n to flirt with you?? Or even acknowledge your existence?!' Everyone looked at me with anticipation as I quickly scribbled something down and passed it back.

'I don't know! I was just looking at them from behind my locker this morning before class to see if they got my letter or not, the BOOM. They talked to me!!' I wrote.

Y/n POV

As I got the letter open I see Finney writing a note and passing it to his friends. I giggled and they all looked at me, "Oh don't mind me.. Just casually trying to read a love letter." I said in absolute sarcasm.

I opened the envelope before taking the letter out careful to not rip it. And then.. I began to read..

The note:

Dear Y/n,

Hi, I'm Finney Blake/Shaw. You probably don't know me, but I'm in your 2nd and 4th period classes. I just wanted to say you're the most beautiful/handsome person I've ever seen in my life. Your eyes are like stars, so bright I might just go blind. And your smile.. oh that prize winning smile is as bright as the sun. Just one look can make my day so much better.

And your hair, it's as amazing as a rainbow after a rainy day. Everything about you makes my heart race. And when you occasionally look my direction makes my heart melt into a puddle. You're such an amazing person, you're smart, pretty/handsome, charming, kind, and caring. I like you, possibly love.. And you might not read this letter, but you will be in my heart.

Still Y/n POV.

After I finished reading the letter, I felt a few tears prick my eyes. I looked at Finney and smiled, "No one has ever said anything like that to me before.." I said. "And I might not know you now, but I will soon. So how about we go on a date?" I asked.

Finney looked at me, a blushing mess. He nodded, "Y-yeah! I'd love too." He replied. "Great! This Friday, meet me at the Grab-N-Go after school!" I said before hopping up out my seat and giving Finney a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Catch you later!" I said before running off to my next class.

Finney's POV

I put my hand on my cheek as the rest of my friends got up and ran to my side of the table. "Dude! Y/n just asked you out!!" Bruce said smiling brightly. "Yeah, and you're not even freaking out?!" Donna exclaimed.

"I-I think I'm gonna pass out.." I said.

"Wait what-" I heard Gwen ask before everything went black.
