A/N: Taking the opportunity that is the attention of this fanfic to write some cute Llorumi fluff while I work out some other things. Key note: I am taking my O-Levels examination right now which means I will be extremely busy for the last half of October and the first half of November, thereby making it difficult to update this. Please be patient because I have also made the mistake of going into this fanfiction with a skeleton of a plan. Here's some possibly-canon-to-the-fanfic fluff between Harumi and Lloyd during the two-month period of Lloyd's recruitment and the break-in at Borgs Industries Tower.

Day 6- Midnight Stroll

There was still some distrust between most of the Sons of Garmadon and Lloyd. After all, Lloyd used to be one of the Ninja, and some thought he was going to tattle on their gang at any moment. No one dared to mention this in front of the boy, though, not unless someone wanted to end up in parts like Mr E.

However, Harumi didn't have as hard of a time trusting him. Maybe it was because he had been useful the past few days, keeping completely silent as he promised for his voice might give away who he was. They were collecting blast zap, highly reactive liquids that had a mild yellow glow and an explosive capability. Ultra Violet was given details on the passages within the Palace walls and underground, so her men could strategically plant the vials of blast zap beneath the Palace unseen.

During the little time at night, when the entire Palace had drifted off to sleep aside from a couple guards near the entrance, Harumi took her chance to sneak out.

To the people on the streets of Ninjago, a black silhouette just zipped by high above. It was more likely a bird, they thought. The only people who knew of the Princess' secret was the ill-fortuned people in the poorer districts of Ninjago City far from downtown. Just enough was renovated in the area for the bridges to be safe to cross and the buildings not to collapse, however the people there were still hungry.

When Harumi arrived, she removed her hood. The children swarmed around her like ants, each other excitedly carrying the portions they were given.

"Didn't expect the Quiet One to be so good with children."

She looked up to see Lloyd standing a light pole away. Though it angered her that he used her code name so openly while she wore the face of the princess, that anger quickly died down.

Lloyd did not look at all intimidating when he wore a grey hoodie one size too big. Its baggy sleeves made him look more huggable than anything else. Despite sending multiple of her men to the hospital under a week ago, his eyes held a soft green glow like phosphorus in the dark. Unlike one of mania, it felt calming and assuming.

"What are you doing here?" Harumi asked, noticing that it had been a while since she last moved as Lloyd now stood beside her.

"Just taking a walk," he shrugged. "And you?"

Harumi held up her sack and shaked it, as it the answer did not come clear enough to Lloyd. Her sack had been emptied quite soon and she slung it over her shoulder. She said monotonously, "You can walk with me around town if you want."

"Alright."

Harumi's heart fluttered as she felt a soft hold on her hood when he pulled it across her head. She looked up at him as he smiled.

His smile contained a kind of brightness hers never could. It was as if he hadn't given up hope on the world, that one day thing will get better. Harumi had felt nothing but emptiness since the Emperor and Empress took her in- like part of her died with her parents- and yet, for a split second, she could almost feel Lloyd's optimism snake into her, filling her with an emotion other than hate or regret.
