I took a deep breath; taking in the fresh air as I stepped outside the school building.
I briefly considered going to the convenience store, to buy some necessities, but I decided against it. Instead, I had an entirely different destination in mind; the dormitory.
Whilst it would've been nice to just shop around and go to the dorm in one nice trip, I still needed to know what appliances and things my room already had. That being said though, I wasn't even sure what I would even need to buy when it came down to it.
For some reason, the introduction I did in the classroom came to mind. It's true that I've dabbled in many activities— the curriculum in the White Room made it a necessity— but it was also true that I didn't delve deeper in any of them; my strict schedule at the White Room prevented it.
Maybe I should pick up a hobby...
That seemed like something a normal high schooler would think of doing. Question is, what hobby should I choose?
My mind wandered as I continued on my walk to my dormitory. It proved to be detrimental as I turned around a corner.
A flash of cerulean blue was my only warning. My whole body stopped as the sensation of something running into my chest hit me.
"Argh!"
I blinked. My eyes looked around before shifting to somebody down on the ground in front of me.
A girl with short blue-hair was sitting on the floor, rubbing her head. A moment passed before she tilted her head upwards, her eyes narrowing at me.
"Hey, watch where you're going!"
I raised an eyebrow. "I could say the same thing to you. It takes two for a crash to happen, you know?" Despite my words, I still extended a hand towards her. "But still, I should've paid more attention. Sorry for crashing into you."
She scoffed. Ignoring my hand, she pushed herself off the ground. She took a moment to clean the dust off her uniform before proceeding to glare at me.
I simply just looked at her with a blank stare.
A tumbleweed might've passed by as our staredown continued.
She eventually relented however, heaving a tired sigh. "Fine, apology accepted." Her glare quickly returned however. "But make sure you look around while walking, next time."
"Sure." I crossed my arms. "Now it's your turn."
She raised an eyebrow. "My turn?"
"Yes, your turn to apologize." Despite her scowl, I decided to continue. "Like I said, it takes two people to cause a crash, and I've already owned up to my mistake. Now it's your turn."
"Do you really expect me to apologize?"
"Yes?" I tilted my head.
"Tch, unbelievable." Ignoring me, she decided to storm off. "Everybody in this school is unbelievable!" Her stomps were still audible even as she turned another corner.
I chuckled when she disappeared from my sight. An interesting encounter, to say the least.
I frowned when I realized something, however. "Hmm, I forgot to ask her name." I shrugged, before continuing on my walk. I'll just ask the next time I see her. Not every girl has blue hair, after all.
I eventually made it to my dorm room. A quick inspection told me that it was already quite well furnished. There was even a kitchen inside the room, in fact.
I dropped my bag on the couch.
There was nothing inside the fridge, naturally. They didn't give us 100,000 points just to provide us everything we needed for free, after all.
